Traditional Funerals

I live overseas and Traditional Funerals were recommended to me . Our mothers Memorial Service was mostly arranged by email. Kirsty and her team arranged a beautiful service and nothing was too much trouble for them. They give an outstanding service and thoroughly recommend them.

Clerissa was absolutely lovely guiding and supporting my mother in law through the process of planning her husbands funeral. There was absolutely no pressure to rush into any decisions. Clerissa helped weave his interests of country music into a beautiful ceremony and made sure everything was running smoothly. The questions we had were never a bother and she made us all feel at ease.The chapel is beautiful and neat with lovely surrounding gardens.

Our Dad, Mum’s husband, passed away very unexpectedly on the 30th Dec 2021.From our very first appointment with Kirsty, having never been through such a sad and stressful process, we walked away feeling at ease, happy with our plans, and we also finally felt like we had a way to start moving forward with our grief.She was truly beautiful, respectful, empathetic, compassionate and very personable. She showed us that she could see our pain, and it also felt like she shared our pain.Kirsty truly cared, and no request we made of her was too difficult.She was constantly in contact with us, and always enquiring as to how we were going.We believe our Dad would have really liked Kirsty too, and can’t thank her enough for everything she has done.

I’m sorry for the low rating after reading some of the others but Traditional cremated both my parents in 2021 within 6 months of each other. Whilst Kirsty was very empathetic towards our family the arrangements with my mums funeral from the music to the date of her death in her book were wrong then to add insult to injury the same thing happened with my dads book so it had to go back. I’ve asked my kids to make sure someone else does mine!!

How can I possibly put into words the service I recently received from Traditional Funerals. From my first phone call to Michael Webb, to the beautiful ceremony honoring my parents they were all professional and displayed an understanding I was not expecting. Nothing was too hard or out of the question. The venue itself was beautifully presented and the Celebrant Evie, was compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend Traditional Funerals.

Geoff and the team at Traditional Funerals did a fantastic job of my Mum's funeral. They were respectful, kind and patient at what was a very stressful time. The venue was beautiful and I'm very glad we engaged their services to honour my Mum. Highly recommend.

Kirsty from Traditional Funerals was our main reason to continue with Dads service and journey. From our first point of contact, we felt heard and respected and she made a very difficult time so much easier. Like many, this was our first time arranging a funeral service. There was so much to know, but Kirsty helped ease the pressure. From first point of contact to the service, Kirsty has checked in to make sure we are ok. The day they came to take Dad to the funeral home, the undertakers made the bed and left a small bunch of flowers on it for Mum. Kirsty called to let us know she greeted Dad as he arrived and that he will be well cared for. She was right. He was. Our family will forever be grateful for Kirsty and the team at Traditional Funerals and we know Dad's final journey was a very meaningful one.

Traditional Funerals ensured the funeral and cremation of our dad, Bruce Shaw, was so easy and supported from the moment they took our dad into their care, his funeral, cremation and catering. Nothing was a bother.All the staff were always very helpful. The caterers made sure the refreshments they provided us were both delicious and fit for the occasion. The image of the flowers covering his coffin made his farewell very special.A special mention to Patrick Keating. He showed great professionalism and compassion. His ability to understand our wishes and provide us with a service we know our dad would have been proud of is such a blessing for us.
