Twisted Desire

For the first time since having short hair, I don't need to style & straighten it every day. Maisa was incredible & took into account how my hair naturally falls. She gave me a short hair cut that totally compliments my hair, suits me perfectly & my busy life. All I do is run a brush through it each morning & it sits perfectly all day!

The costs are quite high but the service is average- girls are nice but at the end of the day could have gotten identical treatment a lot cheaper elsewhere. Keratin did not last very long but I have to presume that works on a per-person basis, I don't think it had anything to do with the service they provided.

I've been going to Twisted Desire to have my CURLY hair cut, coloured and styled for about nine years. Anita, Hannah and all the gorgeous girls on staff do a fabulous job. It wasn't perfect the first few times, and we sometimes have teething problems when new staff start. But they always listen to my concerns and offer to fix any boo-boos for free. It's amazing. I just hope they stick around long enough that I never have to look for another hairdresser to do my curly hair ever again in my life. Love you guys!

My first visit to Twisted Desire in Corinda. I was pleasantly surprised by the pressure point massage to begin with, and the time taken to wash and massage my scalp. It was quite a treat!! My hair was wonderfully styled and cut by Maisa and I walked out feeling like a new person. Thank you ladies for the haircut and hospitality. Also a big shout out to the salon for being apart of the Sustainable Salon program which uses all the cuttings and product waste for various projects and recycling. It is wonderful to visit a salon that runs its business responsibly and disposes of waste in a sustainable manner.

Go for the top notch chai latte and caramel pecan slice, stay for the amazing hair talent! I am always thrilled with my results so took the plunge this time and went for a big change. Hannah was brilliant in discussing colours and styles to suit my skin tone and face shape, and I'm thrilled with the results. The pressure point massage will have you drooling, only complaint is that its never long enough! A friendly, professional team. Thanks ladies, see you soon :)

Super friendly staff who know what they're doing.I went here on the specific recommendation they were very good with curly hair and I have not been disappointed.Hannah in particular is a magician!The coffee and lemon slice was also a lovely bonus!

Visited the salon for the first time today and received one of the best style cuts I've received in a very long time. Hats off to Micaela for working with me to find a style to suit my needs, face shape and wants. She was patient, listened and really cared to make sure I was happy. All the girls at the salon were lovely. The customer service is something they obviously put at lot of emphasis on and it shows. Thank you Micaela and the team. Will be back

Went to this salon last week. Wanted to try something local, unfortunately they don't know how to cut curly hair if they had said it I would have walked away. The stylist was very sweet and polite but she cut too much of my hair when I just wanted a trim. Was quite pricey as well. Unfortunately I am going to have to wait a long time to grow out.

I’ve been having my hair done at Twisted Desire for approximately 8 years, and I cannot speak highly enough of the service and artistry of all those who work there, lead by the wonderful Anita. As someone with ME/CFS and fibromyalgia, it can be hard to balance a practical yet still fashionable hairstyle, and master stylist Hannah always completely rises to the occasion, with superb work with both cutting hair and foils. I never thought I’d be able to wear my hair the way I do, and I’m so grateful to Hannah, for not only her work as a hairdresser, but for her kindness and good humour. I’m also in awe of the talent of all the stylists at Twisted Desire, and I know I’m always in good hands, whether it be from massages, to hair washing, to a stylish blow dry from Jenna. Everyone who works at Twisted Desire is very kind and supportive, and will check in to make sure I’m comfortable during an appointment. If you’re looking for a new hairdresser, I highly recommend the talented stylists of Twisted Desire.

Wow, what an experience! My daughter and I went together. We had the best and relaxed time with everyone in the salon. So much that I re-booked and again both their customer service and hair skills are fab!
