Epic place to visit any time of day, especially sunset. Expansive views along the ocean. A short detour off the main road with parking available at the top.

Sunset joy! Amazing and beautiful spot. Good history. Stick to the bitumen. Come early for the view. Bring mosquito protection, drinks and nibbles. At the right time of year you’ll see the humpbacks in the bay just behind the surfers. Leave your drone and #besttunes because no one else wants to participate in your life story. Take your rubbish too.

Great spot for some postcard photos! Also amazing for night photography. Be aware of mosquitoes! It can also be a little precarious on the way up and down at night since the area is not lit so a torch would be recommended but keep the light away as much as you can so we can get nice photos :)

Vlamingh Head Lighthouse
Fantastic place to watch sun come up, or sun go down. On a clear evening you can almost imagine the sun sizzling down into the ocean, in incredible colors. Good site for the history buffs also, ww2 site. Nice lighthouse, unfortunately not the original, and currently non functional. Get there at least half hour before sunset!

You can see the sunrise and sunset over water here.Fantastic information. I never knew that the Japanese tried to bomb here, and that there was an American base. I've only ever known of Darwin. Very educational.
