Beautiful spot for a hike or a run. Picnics here are good too. And birdwatching. Plenty of wildlife too, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas. Heaps of trees as well of many types, most of which are very tree like. Nice fire trails to use, a bit steep in parts, but nothing major. You should just go now.

Impossible to get into without a four-wheel drive, government unregulated man made speed bumps will scrape the bottom of most two-wheel drives. Waste of time getting to.

A good place for walking, trail running and MTB riding. Dogs, horses and motor bikes are not permitted.

Impossible to find, unless you ask a local, (tip) use reservoir road to find the entrance.Once in there you will find a wonderful array of wild leaves and twigs, fallen branches and termite mounds.There was a kangaroo but I think he had escaped from the paddock up the road.Look out for the 2 parrots talking in the tree and listen to the kookaburra sounds being transmitted across the valley from the tannoys on the far side while you walk up a winding path to nowhere.Remember what goes up must come down, and always wear a raincoat incase it rains.
