Horseshoe Bay Beach
South West Rocks has a beautiful little beach surrounded by towering pines. Its sheltered area is a popular destination for couples and families wanting to swim. We also learnt from a local friend of ours that Horseshoe Bay Beach is close to rewarding fishing spots though you’d need a decent size boat to enjoy the catch rather than positioning yourself on the beach sides which local people regularly do. Picturesque ocean views with beachside boardwalks for all to enjoy.

Short stop for a look see. Plenty of kiddies having a swim. Ideal place for them. Protected beach. Gentle surf. Plenty of gazebos on beach says it all.

Early January and Hat head and the camping here is full on choc o blockNice river inlet off beach here it's patrolled with lifesavers and flagsBe a good spot non holidays with way less crowds good for families and screaming kids

Very popular beach for families,can get a bit dicey on some days ,experienced swimmers only I would recommend, unless staying close to shore
