Undoubtedly the best barber in Brisbane. You have many top rated salons, barber shops in town but hard to find the top barber.I am very particular about my haircut andMatt is the one..Great attention to details. He seems to have developed his unique style & technique with his experience over the years. He understands what the customer exactly wants, suggests what is best and executes it to perfection!All the staff is very welcoming and friendly too.

Matt has been my go-to for years now. I have followed him between multiple locations and now his very own, Wayward Barber Studio. I was sick of going to different barbers, not knowing what to expect and ultimately being unhappy with the results. I've never had a bad cut with Matt and I couldn't recommend him and his staff enough. Great environment and great cuts. Thanks for your work Matt and the team at Wayward Barber Studio

I have told Matt many times I'd follow him to the ends of the earth because the man gives a quality haircut.When he told me he got his own shop I was really happy because now I don't have to keep a kidney on ice to get one of his masterful haircuts.Seriously though his haircuts are worth getting rid of at least 1 kidney for. The man is just that good.Also his shop is always amazingly well kept and full of good vibes. Treat yourself.

Ive been seeing Matt for the past 3 years for my haircuts. Hands down the best barber I’ve had, he’s very talented in his craft, professional and great to have a chat with. His other barbers are also great and rise to the quality of service he offers. Very happy to be supporting his own business and would highly recommend booking an appointment with any of them.

If you are after a great barber then look no further, the lads at Wayward have you sorted. I walked in with 3 years growth of a mop and out of control beard. Now, I’m looking slicker than an oil spill in the South Pacific! Cheers guys!

Managed to book in on a quiet Saturday afternoon for a simple cut. Was greeted warmly, offered a cold beer, and given 5* treatment! The attention to detail is excellent. Highly recommend!

Matt has been cutting my hair and beard for several years, i will not trust anybody else to go near my beard. His new studio is a great atmosphere in a lovely area (great coffee next door!)

Always get a great haircut and friendly service here, would highly recommend. They aren't the cheapest by any means, and frankly I would like to see some more value for money such as actually offering one of the fridge drinks at start of service, a hair wash included or something else, just to really warrant that price tag.Ultimately, I have finally, after many years, found my go-to place though and happy with it.

A great little boutique type barber, in a nice, well lit and open planned environment, which is nice and cool.Great banter from the fellows there, as you'd expect in a barber!A nice touch having cold drinks on hand also.Reasonably priced and the service was spectacular.I was lucky enough to be a walk in, but I would recommend making a booking.I'll be back.Cheers fellas!Scott
