Pattemore’s Meats

The best thing to buy in this place is the eggs which consistently seem to be fresher than I can get in the supermarket. The meat is generally ok however i have had a few instances where their rough handling of sausages in bagging has damaged the product. Also I avoid the chicken after 2 bad batches that caused the family to feel unwell. Customer service is terrible the 2 older butchers here just aren't well suited to customer service being gruff and generally unpleasant to deal with. I shop here weekly to buy eggs and wouldn't go here at all if i could find somewhere else to buy good eggs.

If you need a quality ham for Christmas this is the place to go.Dont drive half way round brisbane looking ,like i did,because you are wasting your time.Called in yesterday and collected a quality ham,chicken breast kababs and port snags.All top quality product.Deserved the award for Best Ham again this year.Beeeaaaauuutttiiifffuuulll.

I began selling Avon in late 1979 and with the earnings from my first catalogue, I bought a large rolled beef roast from Pattemores. The meat was amazing and we are still customers today. We have always been happy with the customer service and the quality of the meat over the last 40 years.

I've been an avid Pattemores customer for years. But I went in yesterday and it looked like they were closing down! Shop is half empty. Same great service but far less choice. Very sad! New management apparently - lets hope they look at it from the customer's perspective soon. No one wants waste but no one wants to buy what looks like the last dregs either.Have a great day y'all.

I love their plain biltong, sticks and shaved. I just got biltong at another butcher in different area, and not only is Pattemore’s cheaper, but tastes better too.

have been a customer for a long time.. always have good meat.. and always has that old school butcher service...still waiting for the popeye roasts to return

Pattemores has been my go to butcher for probably 10 years however after learning that it was sold last year and hoping that it would stay the same it unfortunately hasn't. I can't comment on alot of the products because really they've changed hands but one noticable difference is the bacon. Pattemores used to win award's for their bacon, I lived 40 minutes away and would still go here to get bacon but that time has now come to an end. I purchased some and looked at the back of the packaging Pendle Ham & Bacon Curers" and thought I would give benefit of the doubt. As soon as the package was opened there wasn't that noticable smokiness smell you always smell when you open the bacon products. Again thought I would still give it a go but it's not the same. I know when business' trade hands things will change but this is disappointing. I probably won't be returning here anymore and will find another butcher. The prices are still good but at the end of the day the in home smoking was a big factor of purchase that is no longer there."

I've used many bulk meats suppliers over many years. For the second time ordering Pattemore's bulk items and prearranged packs, while also provided with excellent service, I'm compelled to say a very grateful thank you to the team. I'm sure my dogs, once finished with their bones, would create a gmail account and share their thanks as well. Cheers.
