Sandy Camp Road Wetlands Reserve
Variety of bushland habitats on offer - multiple shallow ponds with water vegetation attract frogs and waterbirds while the scrub bushland which makes up the majority of the rest of the reserve attracts a number of insects and land birds. Walking tracks cut their way through much of the reserve and there is a bird hide overlooking one of the ponds.

I've been going to Sandy Camp for years with my Camera, it's a wonderful place for the avid wildlife enthusiast and for the novice. There is always something happening, lots of Raptors, lots of water fowl, and reptiles. Lots of walking tracks, a great place to loose yourself for a few hours.

Wonderful semi wilderness in suburbia. Lots of birds of all sorts, I've even seen a turtle meandering across the track. A little warning, if you go off the main tracks and are brushing against vegetation especially grass do check yourself for ticks afterwards.

One of the best wetlands in Brisbane! Heaps of wildlife and walking tracks around the multiple wetland areas. So quiet and peaceful here as well.

Great place to go for a walk, a massive field for you to play fetch with your dog. Maybe bring some insect repent as there can be some mozzies
