Wow, what an amazing experience we had with Pete and Taylor'd Distinctions. Pete is so passionate about what he does which is clearly displayed in his experienced and clever use of space and style. He really listened to what we wanted and came up with a design that was beautiful and the perfect use of space. After the experience we have had with Taylor'd Distinction I wouldn't ever consider looking at any other designer on the coast. The guys at Taylor'd are professional, warm and friendly, supremely talented at what they do... and more important than anything, they are as passionate about your project as you are! Thanks Pete, Jane and crew... you guys were amazing!!!

We loved working with Pete.We engaged him to design our new build and from the very beginning he was very professional but still very friendly.He was open to discuss our ideas and find ways to make our wishes work without compromising a good design. Pete worked with us very collaboratively through the high level and detailed design toward a final set of plans, which got through Council promptly.He provided us with 3-D images and video flyover of our design. This helped enormously to visualize our proposed home.Pete showed us his own home to explain many of the practical aspects of the design. His approach is flexible, friendly, and client focused.He consulted well with the certifier, town planner, engineer and builder to ensure our design conformed with local rules, was practical to build and delivered on our lifestyle.The final product we now have is a beautiful home that is perfect for our needs. One of the big things that resonated with me throughout our design process with Peter Taylor, was his early comment that the plans will evolve naturally throughout the process. That is exactly what happened with us - and with each evolution the design really began to come alive. Pete was relaxed, professional and a real joy to deal with. His passion for his profession shines through and he was happy to work in with our busy lives without pressure or stress. Pete really listened to what we wanted and made it happen. More than a great designer!Sometimes words are not enough to express or articluate what some people do so well.Pete had his job cut out for him with this dual living project. The design needed to include disability access so that we can keep our aging parents at home as long as possible.Pete's a great communicator, has a big heart and is talented too, and this made our process much easier.He listened to our needs and he saw beyond those dreams and vision to help us expand to designing a truly magnificant home.We enjoyed working with Pete and Jane, their professionalism and warm natures made it easy to express what we didn't like and to celebrate what we loved.Their patience was so greatly appreciated. Planning our new home on the Sunshine Coast, we wanted to work with a local designer. We met Pete and found him to be, not only professional but very warm, genuine and down to earth as well. Our situation was a little different in that we lived over 500km away! This meant communication with Pete during the design process was via many phone calls and emails. At all times, Pete was approachable, gave good advice and readily listened to any changes we wanted made. We believe the end result provides a great balance between practicality and design appeal. We were referred to Pete through a valued contractor, and once we looked at Taylor'd Distinction' work on their website we were immediately drawn to his impressive designs. Upon meeting with Pete at our existing home, we soon felt comfortable with his charisma and expertise ideas. Pete listened to our wish list and budget and let us build a design for our family home around this. We enjoyed visiting the Taylor'd studios, you could see how Pete loved and valued his working team of designers. From the initial concept drawings, to the very impressive 3D design that Jaegan designed, you can see your dream home come to life! To see this design in it's full form really makes you appreciate the design process and being a visual person, being able to view these 3D images I was very impressed. Pete and the Team, were a pleasure to work with when designing our new home.Pete came to our own home and sat down with us for our design brief, the initial floor plan included everything we wanted from our brief and any changes were no problem at all.My wife and I were inexperienced in the process and Pete’s experience guided us through the whole journey, always keeping lines of communication open and helping us with any questions we had.Pete and the team have designed us a beautiful, functional and contemporary home and we couldn’t be happier.

I couldn’t recommend Pete and his team more. They worked within our budget. None of my questions were too silly. His knowledge, especially within the Sunshine Coast region was amazing. He transformed what I had in my head on to paper but a lot better, making use of the natural breeze and light.
