New small bar in Five Dock. Bit quiet but early days. At last another option to the pub and the RSL for a drink. Cheap beer and cocktails $12! Worth a visit. They also do food. Friendly staff give them a try to help develop the nightlife in Five Dock.

I visit often for breakfast or lunch which is always a treat but this review is for their trial of night time cocktails/drinks/snacks. I hope more people go along to try their dinner exploits. The loaded fries were the pick of the bunch for us. You can choose Mexican or pulled pork (which we had) or roasted veges. The pork is cooked onsite said the owner. Speaking of which, the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home.The Korean fried chicken could be had with soy/garlic sauce or sweet and spicy. The sweet/spicy was delicious and the chicken was ACTUAL chicken pieces, nothing cheap or compressed. The batter was crispy and not too thick. Prices were outstanding (even in the current inflation climate) so I can't recommend Bon Homie enough!

Great coffee place with good vibe and super helpful & friendly staff.Looks small from the outside, but there’s plenty of room. It even has a small playground if you go with kids! Extended trading hours makes it very convenient as well.Pro tip: tap water is fresh and a hint of lemon juice. Loved it.

We always get food here mostly for delivery, chef has amazing work, hats off to him, hence we normally get takeaway.First, the cafe order has to be done upfront which is quite weird knowing that their counter is up at the exit and literally same to the entrance of the cafe, it removes the feeling of a “dine-in” experience not having to get someone to take your order in your table.Second, the staff there for some reason seem to he very panicky, they look distressed all the time, as if they are so agitated having to deal with so much customers at a time, even when the place is not busy, some of the staff seem to be running constantly and just having that unpleasant look in their face, really wish they could smile more to make us diners at ease and more comfortable.Lastly, I just really wish they had enough wait staff, it just really seems like a promising place but with that much shortage of staff and incorrect orders being given, it kinda sucks to be a customer that dines in.Overall, I would not be too cruel in giving them below 3-Stars because the food here is always amazing.Also, love the Matcha Latte and Belgium Chocolate Mocha, it’s always so great.Just service is abysmal, and we’ve been here numerous times hoping and wishing it would improve.

fantastic food and especially coffee, quick service, friendly staff, and clean & aesthetic dining area! the takeaway is reliable and portions are generous. i love this place and will continue to come here. definitely recommend!

We came to try this cafe on a weekday as it was listed as a family friendly cafe with play equipment for kids. Sadly I will not be returning for these reasons:* Food was terrible. I ordered the poke bowl, everything was tasteless and dry like it was made days ago. I did not finish it as I was scared of getting sick.* Play equipment is old, broken, rusted and dirty. Equipment at any normal park is better for kids than what is here.* The place felt like it had been neglected, there was bird poo (fresh and dried) everywhere on the table and seats which we had to clean ourselves. Even though it was a quiet day, some tables still had dirty plates and random things piled up.* A glimpse into the kitchen washing area showed that it was dirty and unhygienic.Such a shame...I saw some photos from old reviews and it looks like it used to be a much nicer cafe.

Beautiful little bar/cafe with good hosts, food and drinks at a really reasonable price. The presumed owner waited on us and was lovely, there was also a good variety of options and really delicious food and drinks. Will be back!!
