School is very poor at communicating effectively with parents. Principle does not seem care about the students of the school and focuses more on the reputation. Quality of teaching is very low. Do not send you kid to this school unless you want to deal with never ending headaches.

Below average education. My son went to this school for year 7, 2017. No communication with teachers after many requests. My child received average results. After changing schools has excelled in the public system. Principle off with the fairies. High teacher turn over. Three form room teachers in one year. Huge focus on religion.

My eldest has started her first year at McKillop. She often complains about the uniform and how it doesn’t breathe. The quality of the shirts are not designed for territory weather, also the elastic around the bottom doesn’t help at all. The skorts are like cardboard. They wouldn’t be comfortable at all.She often refers to the boys uniform looks much more comfortable especially the shirts.I went to St Johns college where the uniforms were comfortable and more appropriate for our temperatures of Darwin. My suggestion would be to consider a change to allow them to be more breathable and comfortable for all students. Boys and girls uniforms shouldn’t be different. Uniformity should be considered.

the girl uniform is see through and it gets too hot when you have to put on a singlet and the skirts arent very good. the school is ok the education is ok but the studens have a bad habit on disrupting classes and teachers dont really do much about it sometimes but the school is ok

My kids love going to Mackillop, like all schools it has small problems but over all it's a great school. I love the uniform, I think it looks smart. When we chose Mackillop we were made aware of the uniform expectations and agreed with them. I like that you can tell the juniors from the seniors. I feel my kids are getting a good around education.

This is my 6th year working in this school. I enjoy teaching in this school. My colleagues are all dedicated, supportive and committed to their jobs and the colleagialty is strong. The students are great. Lots of opportunities for students in this college in all areas, especially the Arts. The best aspect of this school- it is continually growing and changing for the better each year since the school started.

very very poor school if your looking to come here i don’t suggest it at all poor teaches and lack of communication, students are treated extremely unfair, the current principal is extremely unprofessional often can’t control his anger towards kids and can lie towards adults to paint him to be the good guy, teaches don’t care for students mental health only things that benefit them or there school, staff preach confidentiality and yet there own staff had told a yr 12 class about drama with 5 girls that had nothing to do with her nor her class at them time, extremely unprofessional and disgusting to talk about other students/ KIDS that you don’t even know. also made kids walk home after a incident instead of waiting for a caregiver which could have been extremely dangerous, and many many many other things. Over all i don’t suggest this school to anyone or especially to kids who need extra help unless you want endless drama.

I'm a student at Mackillop, its a good school, but not worth the price. The kids here are rude, and never work in class, disrupting others who actually want to learn. The teachers not all of them are bad, but some are lazy. I probably would learn more at a public school.

This is our 4th year and still very happy with MCC.Our eldest has already graduated and is taking Batchelor of Nursing whilst our second is now in seniors. We find the Principal and teachers alike are very communicative and are very attentive every time the need arises. This is our 4th year in MacKillop and would highly recommend it, we wouldn’t be wasting our money if we didn’t think highly of this school.Uniform is another issue that we always address at home as it is an integral part of discipline regardless of whether it looks fashionable or not! It is to be worn with pride as such because they are representing the School. There is no school that is free from issues but providing it is addressed then our expectations as parents are met.Go forth MCC Faculty!!!
