UniqueU Psychology is a very special place that understand the needs of my autistic daughter implicitly. The knowledge they have about ASD and its particular manifestation in girls is wonderful. Vanessa has proven to be a life saver for my daughter and I am forever thankful.

I cannot recommend Unique U highly enough! I only wish we had done the assessment for our daughter sooner, as it quickly became evident how much more knowledgeable the staff at this clinic are in girls with neurodiverse conditions than other services we had been to. Not only did we gain a lot of clarity about our daughter's diagnosis, we were given really clear and helpful guidance about how best to support her develop to her full potential, and questions to ask when looking for a suitable school for her. Going through the assessment process at Unique U has also helped us to recognise and celebrate her strengths! Thank you Vanessa and the rest of the team!

My experience has been nothing but unprofessional with this practice; a practice without care for the vulnerability of the patient. It is the same story of a team of professionals taking advantage of people's barriers by overcharging for services, delayed important work such as NDIS reports, and caring more for billing invoices than caring for the patient's needs. As a result, there have been over the years a lot of staff turnover at Unique U; so, expect the patient (your loved one) to have more than several clinicians over a span of 360 days. It is a very frustrating practice to be a part of for this reason. You will likely be tossed around between a plethora of doctors, with little to no progress or advancement made by the patient. It becomes a simple question: why attend Unique U when there are so many other qualified clinicians in Melbourne?

I had my autism and ADHD assessment with Danuta and I found her to be very caring, understanding and knowledgeable. The reception staff also made things very clear and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend Unique U psychology to any woman or girl wanting to be assessed for any neurodivergent conditions. Thank you, Danuta.
