Completely revoking my previous 5star. The restaurant area seems badly managed. I’ve never been to a city pub which runs out of items. We have now turned up here several times and chicken schnitzels were sold out. And previous times pale ale was sold out. No idea what’s going on. But they def gotta lift their game.Old review”****Frequent here often. Meals have definitely improved and service of staff is one of the best I’ve experienced. Offering table service is a great difference. Def suggest one of the meals pictured (burger seemed small so opted for snitzel) definitely add this to your list for lunch or dinner. Great visit. (One side note; the place may be due for a renovation at some point)*****

A great experience that made good memory and surely will visit again. Recommended when you want to have a catch up with mates and enjoy a good moment. The range of offering is awesome and service speed is pretty good. The staff are friendly and in general it is the right spot for having your relax time either solo or by the group of your gangs!

Always amazing food and friendly service. The menu is seasonal, but there are mainstays that are available all year. Great veg and vegan options. Plenty of seating, and doggo friendly on the deck. Lots of beer options, cocktails and mocktails.

Valentines at the Duck ... we were dubious about going back after our last visit as the style of food had Conley changed and we really didn't like it. But they are back to a more 'Duck' menu and it was lovely. No Duck risotto (was always the BEST anywhere) but still lovely food

We’ve been to The Duck many times over the years but it has been over a year since our last visit and what a difference in food and service there was!The two people (one might have been the restaurant manager) who dealt with us from start to finish were absolutely wonderful. They were personable, friendly, professional, attentive and very warm individuals who added to our positive experience of the night. Then the food - so tasty and beautifully presented, all still at a very good price.Whatever you have done to improve service and food, please keep doing it. We really had an extra lovely night thanks to your brilliant staff.

Absolutely top notch. From the venue to environment and vibe to the service and smiles. The food was amazing. The new menu is delicious and like two ducks if a feather the cocktail menu combined with the food is enough to leave you full, content and wanting to come back for more. Bravo and well done!

We had a family members birthday celebration here. Out of our group of sixteen people, there was a third who didn’t think much of their meals. I enjoyed mine which was salmon. One thing that we all agreed on - that there was a lack of table service for drinks. We waited a while to get table water and even then it only came out once. We were all having to go and wait at the bar for additional drinks so most of us didn’t bother. The staff were all extremely friendly. The hotel has a nice atmosphere in a great location.

30th wedding anniversary meal on the 12th September. The meals were very flavoursome & very filling. The staff were fabulous with helping me surprise my husband with the balloons that I had dropped off at lunchtime and presented us with the cake I had brought with me for the meal. Above & beyond service. We will be back

The Duck inn is a beautiful place in a fantastic setting and most of the food is good , but The Duck Inn has so much potential to be so much more.I am a local and eat out often, would love The Duck inn to be more of a country style pub with a non pretentious menu and affordable prices. ( word of mouth as well)Generally the staff have never been overly welcoming considering The Duck inn was our local for 4 years but now we drive further to other venues.Went back to give them another go but Sadly no change from my comment above
