I would not stay in the motel section again if you paid meThe hotel section was great. The staff were fantastic.The food was great pub food.The motel sbould be demolished. We stayed in room 3. Very overpriced for what was supplied.Very old and things breaking down. The power on one side of the room had been tempoararily fixed which gave out in the morning. ...so - no TV or heater in a cold late June morning.Taps leaked badly. Beds too lumpy. Not enough blankets. outside verandah roof leaks so you get wet. and so on and so on

Great food and lunch menu has a nice variety. Very casual atmosphere and friendly staff. You can find any dish your after with a really good price. Compliments to the chef.

Very tasty food. Steak melted in my mouth, garlic prawn topper on it had lots of large prawns in a creamy garlic sauce with velvety mashed potato. Would love to try more of their dishes.

The Cally is a traditional country pub at first glance, but the food was something classier. My beer battered fish and chips were crispy and delicious. Even the side salad was so good that I actually ate all of it! My sister looked like she might cry happy tears when she took her first bite of the lamb shoulder. We will definitely be back next time we're in Hamilton.
