Jesse knows his cuts well, has some good advice on cooking and is an ambassador for his town. Sausages are pretty good here too.

Went in on Christmas Eve on the off chance they’d have anything left, they were all sold out of Turkey Rolls, but instead of turning me away he deboned a Turkey for me, what a champion!! Everything they had looked amazing can’t wait to try out everything else.

CRAZY GOOD. We were lookin for good quality meat and we found it. We got a dry aged Texas rib and a rib fillet - both blew us away. Solid prices too, nothing surprising there, worth what we paid. Think the dry aged was about $65/kg

Great customer service, but the quality of the sirloin steaks we paid good money for was atrocious. Tough and flavourless. Sorry guys, but your supplier let you down on this one.

2 years ago when visiting Yamba we tried the Worcestershire Sauce and Cracked Pepper sausages which were excellent. This vist we got the similar sausages but with Kangaroo- wow they are fabulous.

Away from home (and my usual butcher), Locke's came highly recommended.Plusses:* Sausages - they're absolutely amazing! Great combination of flavours.* Service - fast and friendly* Dry aging cabinet - details on the cut, where it's from, what breed and date stampConstructive criticism:* Disappointed in the lack of in-house small goods. Black pudding purchased from Sydney. Bacon made from imported pork (according to the label in the case stating low Australian content)* Shelf life - sirloin steaks from the case were turning only after 24 hours requiring our dinner plans to be moved forward. That said, they ate very well.* Sausage casings - natural casings would bump your products to next level

Meat is sensational and sausage’s are on another level for excellence. Never tasted anything like them. Got a mixture and they are all equally great. Don’t miss this experience. Great meat and great service from friendly staff. WELL DONE to the local butcher.
