I had a terrible experience at Beverly Hills North Camp Australia vacation care. My almost 5 year old was missing upon collection. The educators lied to me and said he was just here in the room when in reality he was found in the bathrooms that were located 200 metres away unsupervised. I found him in a distraught state, with him sitting on the toilet with no shoes or socks on. He was a complete mess saying things like “I thought no one was going to come” and “I’ve been here for a long time”. When I asked the other students when the last time they saw him was, they told me it has been a long time. One of them said it must of been 30 minutes. To make the matter worse the school gates were open and anyone could’ve entered or exited the school. There is a flaw in their management, had none of the educators conducted a head count to realise that a 4 year old child was missing. When speaking to the managing educator she singled out the child that suggested it had been 30 minutes and asked her why she was lying. This is no way to speak to a child. If she felt comfortable to speak to the child in that manner in front of a parent then one would wonder how she deals with children when no adults are present. Please parents be careful, do not send your children here. Any individual can enter the premises and take advantage of your child while the educators are half asleep. I put through a complaint with Camp Australia and the operations manager contacted me to discuss the matter further. Unfortunately it was not a good time to talk so he said he will call me on the following business day. I waited all day for a phone call and he did not contact me. Clearly this matter is not priority on their list which means our children are just a monetary figure to this company. A complaint has been filed with the governing body and hopefully some changes can be made so that children are kept safe and out of harms way.

I've lodged a complaint for the first time in my life since the staff at newington public yelled at kids asking them to clean up and to be quiet even during the recess. This is so ridiculous why kids have to be quiet sitting nicely during the recess?? I know they are addicted to phones when they should be focused on kids but I do not care since it is not a school but shouting and yelling at kids right after their parents leave seem so upset and unprofessional. Nothing has been changed after lodging a complaint and I just have to keep my kids home for 2 days during the holiday and it caused me a lot of trouble since I am a working mum. worst experience ever!!!
