Riverbend Chalets & Caravan Park

Fantastic park... beautiful grassy spots (not just sand or concrete), very friendly and varied birdlife, swings, basketball court (with basketballs provided), volleyball, sack throw, river crossing, walking trails, gardens, strawberries (that you can eat) fruit trees, herbs, friendly staff, clean homely amenities (single rooms not standed caravan fodder), laundry, swings, I could go on.... great site, so happy we found it. Only negative is the duck poo but that (and the regular watering by the owners) is what keeps the grass green..also note. park reception shuts at 5.30... this is so the owners can have a life and spend time with their kid. As a mu I respect that. Plan accordingly

We camped in ‘The Paddock’. Great for kids. Toilets and bathroom are kept immaculately clean and are regularly serviced Perfect for camping and caravans. Beautiful scenery and friendly service. Highly recommended.

We love camping at Riverbend chalets and caravan park, it's just so beautiful lush with a flowing river, spotless amenities, an amazing drying room for your washing in wet weather,or they have dryers as well, it's close to town great for a walk or a bike ride into town. Thanks to Jo and David for letting us come and enjoy there little piece of paradise

We just spent three nights here and had a wonderful time. The camping is spread out - they could sell more campsites but keep the numbers down which is great. The location is also great - right on a beautiful river. Nice amenities and the owners dropped off a fire pit for us which was great. We had a powered site but there are some beautiful unpowered sites right on the river. Perfect

Small, clean, great for kids and plenty of room so they’re not under foot. Recharge your batteries, relax by the river with a cosy campfire.

Dave and Jo are fantastic hosts. Riverbend camp site is just paradise. The grounds are perfect and facilities immaculate. If you’re looking for somewhere to camp in Denmark, this is the place.

This spot is just magical! The site is so green, surrounded by beautiful forest and lined by the most peaceful river. The grounds are impeccably maintained and there are so special spots to discover, including a serene walk right along the river, chooks, organic veggie patch, rope swings, and bench seats along the water to take in nature. Come nightfall you’re treated to a spectacular view of the stars and Milky Way.We camped for four nights with our toddler who had a ball chasing ducks and wandering the grounds. A quick drive (less than 5 minutes) and you’re in the heart of Denmark.The facilities are clean and regularly maintained. Separate showers/toilets, and laundry (including dryer!) are a plus. Fire pits around the grounds and your own delivered right to your site, including Jarrah and fire starters to keep you toasty all night.Dave and Jo are so hospitable and approachable. We can’t wait to come back to this slice of paradise!

Amazing caravan park, I was ready to finish our trip before we got here, now I don’t want to leave! It would be up in one of my top caravan parks. Great space for the kids, mini bmx track. Definitely stay here while you’re in Denmark.

We camped in a powered site.There are many beautiful walks along the nearby river and through the trees. A spiritual energy surrounds you and the curiosity of the bird life is an amazing experience.Dave is a caring, knowledgeable and friendly host and loves a good chat.Clean, and generous amenities which are maintained constantly.Will definitely return.
