Sydney Traffic Offenders Program

This course can definitely be life saving.It definitely really made me think of the way I have driven and thought of driving in my past. It would be awesome if it was mandatory for younger drivers with offences or if you or your family or loved ones have a problem with driving you should urge them to do this course.Thank you to the team for presenting this to me.

TORP is a great program which I really enjoyed! It is very educational and interactive which allows you to get a better in depth understanding of making informed decisions on the road and how important it is to drive safely at all times showing the significant impacts a small mistake can make on your life and others. I think everyone should refresh their knowledge and raise awareness to driving responsibly and safely.

I am really glad I sat for torps course. It actually made me understand how important safety on the roads is to me and other people. After putting my family in so much stress and agony, I’ve actually woken up to my self. This course made me reflect upon all day living and been self conscious and open minded. Thank you so much for all your help.

Thanks for your support and for the course. The material that was offered is very powerful and touching. In my own circumstances, I was able to refresh my road skills and have a reality check on the potential outcomes of negative driving behavior. It made me feel even more ashamed for taking the risk and riding my motorbike after having 3 coronas over 3 hours and failing to be under the legal BAC. I now put in place solid mechanisms to avoid re-offending and feel that I will be a better road user.

It was a well structured program. Each day was quite balanced, no overload on any given day. The excercises and questions were quite reasonable, no unfair trick questions designed to mess you up. I have gotten a deeper understanding of how our community is severely affected by dangerous driving behaviors and individuals not adhering to the laws and legislations. The program showed that young people can be severely affected by poor driving choices. I have unfortunately had such an experience before the program, I have lost a very dear friend due to his bad driving choices and had to cope with no longer being able to ever talk to someone dear again. I hope those that engaged in dangerous driving before the program take something from it and deeply think about each driving action they take on our roads.

Remembering all my past experiences together with having created more depth of knowledge and awareness I gained today of how my choices and behaviour can affect not only myself but others around me and in my community. (Ripple Effect) I am remorseful of past negative choices.I feel privileged to have listened to Michelle speak about cause and effect of Trauma in Life.It has touched me deeply., this leads me to focus on actively making wise driving choices everyday.Last to realise that my License is a privilege.Thank you TORP

I found this traffic offenders program to be a great reminder of the dangers and long term damage my carless driving could cause. The ripple affect that affects so many people involved. You forget these dangers after driving for a while, its very interesting and educational. I think it would benefit everyone that drives to do this course at one time or another, regardless of there driving record.

I thought I was a good driver before completing this program. And whilst I might think I am a good driver, the program actually changed my entire perspective on driving and driving safely. I realized I had not been the safest driver and had not considered potential consequences of making unsafe decisions when driving. This course will change your perspective to. It was a bonus some of the speakers were based in the region I live which it even more relatable.I choose to sit the course in my own time online which was helpful to work with my schedule.TORP also provide some great resources for preparing from court and representing yourself.Though I speak highly of the program and how it helped change my perspective. I am not certain yet whether it helped my matter in court as magistrate seemed to have given me the same penalties I was originally charged with, which I wasn't expecting.

The traffic offenders program is a great program. It really makes you realise just how bad things can get and how fast they can happen it is great how they break it up into different sections I found the legal side very informative and interesting but the part that really done it for me was I believe her name is Michele your story broke my heart and I take my hat off to for what you do to try and stop that happening to someone else you are a rockstar. Also on Michel's part It really sinks in the ripple effect and who is affected not just in the family but community I would recommend this program while heartedly to any one not just people who have been caught doing the wrong thing I would encourage parents to get there children to do this course on there Ls so they can see the potential of how serious accidents can be and how fast they can happen to help them in there future. This course has changed the way I look at driving and how I think about driving when u drive you are putting your life and people's lifes around u in your hands it's a big responsibility and not something we should take advantage of driving is a privilege not a given right I hope others have learnt from this course and want to make a change in there life before it's to late . I would like to thank all the people who spoke you done an excellent job and it is a credit to you, you have changed me for the better so thank you highly recommend doing this course.

I found the course to be easy to follow and a good amount of content. The presenters were well informed and interesting. I learnt a lot and feel I achieved my desired outcome and knowledge. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to brush up on their road user knowledge.
