Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic
Charlie (Andreas Schall-Riaucour) is the best Physiotherapist that we've seen in Australia. And believe me we've seen so many in the country. He has an exceptional (almost uncanny) understanding of what's wrong, and knows very well on how to treat the condition. He saved my wife's (thrice-operated) knee, and I cannot thank him enough for that. The staff at the reception is also very polite and friendly here. You may need to wait for a few minutes from time to time, but it's well worth the exceptional service that will be offered here. I strongly recommend this Physiotherapy clinic.

These guys attract the best physios and have helped me through many years at all stages of my exercise life. Can not recommend more highly. I recently moved and went to a different physio for a shoulder issue, but had little improvement after 3 expensive visits over a month. So I made the trip across town back to Hawthorn Physiotherapy and it got better in two days with a different diagnosis. Also the BUPA gap payment is low here. Only $33, compared to $93 at some other physios.

I ruptured my ACL in June and started seeing Charlie before and after surgery and have never looked back. The staff are all very friendly and Charlie's expertise and patience have been invaluable!

Hawthorn Physiotherapy Clinic
Did my post op ACL rehab here. The physio was great. Focus on functional training to get you back even with all my other muscle imbalances and injuries. He helped identify the root cause and treat them.Unfortunately he left the clinic about 6 months into my rehab.Still feel the other physicians there are great.

Sophie Rubira treated me after a total knee replacement. Great communicator, very knowledgable and friendly, and most of all she is pragmatic, knowing when to back off or reduce the intensity of a particular exercise. Not only that, she answers followup questions by email. I have found her to be a very very effective physio and would highly recommend her.

Fantastic physio with very friendly and helpful staff. I cannot recommend Marcy enough, she is so thorough and knowledgeable! She knew exactly what was going on with my knee, and my knee has gained much more strength after following her advice and exercise programs. I’ve been to other physios before and there was no other physio who understood my condition better. Highly recommend!

Would highly recommend the clinic - I’ve had a fantastic experience. All the staff are very friendly and super helpful.I’m coming back from a shoulder operation and seen Charlie as part of my rehab. He has clearly articulated what’s required to get back to playing sport. Each appointment is detailed, thorough and involves treatment. I’ve been incredibly satisfied and pleased that I’ve been able to return to the sporting field, with strength and confidence.

Hawthorn Physio Clinic has such competent and highly skilled staff. Front of house and physios are wonderful. My family has spent literally years in this clinic for ailments covering many joints! Always superb advice about ankles, backs, knees, hips - in fact most parts of the body!!
