Gympie 4WD Spares

I swapped out for a reconditioned gearbox for my 80 series. Unfortunately the box had an issue however the team at Gympie 4WD Spares were more than happy to resolve the issue and really worked with me on getting the issue fixed under warranty. I also asked about a few modifications but they were honest and let me know if it was not right for me saving literally thousands of dollars, another shop would have just taken my money and I wouldn't have gotten the results I was looking for. Even new parts fail so I understand it was just an unfortunate and rare problem but their customer service is A1 in my book. I would highly recommend using them if you are thinking of modifications or replacement parts for your 4WD. Thank you!

I found these guys on google and found them to be very helpful, courteous, and professional. I spoke to 3 different people and all 3 were polite and more than helpful and provided the information and supplies that I required.. Happy to recommend these guys.

Straight out lied about what had been done to my patrol, was meant to resolve geometry issues but said the bushes etc were all flogged out and needed replacing, strange because i had just replaced all of them only days before myself.....After getting under the vehicle, pointing this fact out and confronting him about it, he still wanted to charge me $450 for hour's of diagnosis" despite not doing anything

Sent the wrong part. Sent another without complications

Extremely poor customer service with next to no knowledge and as expensive as they come. There's better local reputable gearbox shops nearby. Keep searching

Could not recommend more!!! The team were all so accommodating, polite and helpful after an early finish to a holiday in fraser due to damage to the front diff and suspension. Other mechanics were telling us 2 weeks minimum to get parts where as Gympie 4x4 spares went the extra mile to ensure they were able to get them in a day and get our car back on the road. They were so understanding of our situation and did the most they could to save us money and time. Don’t look any further go to this amazing business!

Can't thank and recommend this business enough, business with professional staff and neat work.Had a gearbox/transfer and rear diff replaced last year on my 80series, 11k/km of normal use, off road driving and towing are on them currently and they have performed flawlessly.Also would like to thank the staff for their professionalism and going above and beyond. They even came and gave me a lift when the job was completed.

Just recently I have had gearbox a clutch replaced while they were replacing gearbox they found that the transfer box was not in good condition offered me a replacement at a reasonable cost very happy with their work an they're communication with the customer
