Exceptional quality of meat. We've shopped here for a year now and never been disappointed. Quality is what we prefer over the 'cheap' subpar cuts you get at the large stores. We will always support the local business and in return you get great service and top quality. Thanks guys!

Really great quality meat here I love the steaks! Regardless of what people think of the price I happily spend my money here knowing I am supporting a local business & getting lovely service from nice people! I get exactly what I pay for, highly recommend.

Always has good meat. And the Homemade Kabana is beautiful.And yes it is a bit more expensive than supermarkets but the quality is much better. Especially now that so many small businesses are suffering we should be supporting them.

Very, Very disappointed as we seem to have been ripped off. My wife ordered a duck last week for collection today, Monday, and paid a $10 deposit . She collected it, paid the balance to a TOTAL of $32.55, and on arriving home and unwrapping the parcel discovered it was a FROZEN Luv a Duck". On checking supermarket prices on the internet we found Woolworths have 1.8 to 2.3 kg "Luv a Duck" for $20.70 !! Coles are listed as "In Stock" for $16 without a weight specified. As residents of Mt Dandenong for 21 years we thought we would give the local butcher the business expecting a fresh duck. Sadly this was not the case and we will definitely not be going back ever. If the proprietors have an explanation we would be happy to hear it."

I had the pleasure of meeting Rob today. He was pleasant and friendly on the phone, and was even better in person.I was sent on a mission to get lamb for a recipe that I wasn’t cooking. Rob was able to explain what cuts of meat the recipe usually uses (beef or veal calf muscle) and what cut of lamb would be best to use (shank) and also cut it up for me into the thickness I wanted.While I was waiting for him to cut my shanks up, I had a look over the selections of meat in the display. It was well presented and looked fresh. Got a few other things and left feeling really happy.Great friendly quality service. Lovely meat.Thanks again Rob.

We purchased a few very nice cuts of beef last week. They sat in our refrigerator for 2 days and when i opened them to cook dinner, they stunk..... looking back we also purchased chicken ribs and the same thing happened a few months back.. Will not be spending our hard earned money at this place again. Thanks and unfortunate as it is very local.

High quality produce, very reasonable price and fantastic staff. This has become my new local butcher. Would definitely recommend to others.
