Green Eggs Early Childhood Centre

After a bad experience with another day care I was very wary of other centres for my daughter. My daughter absolutely loves green eggs and loves Mr Matt. Always melts my heart how my daughter and Mr Matt smile at each other. If I could go back in time I would of just sent my daughter to green eggs first. They are always happy to answers questions.

We absolutely adore Green Eggs! We could not wait to get our youngest son a place at the Centre after seeing how our eldest son has been cared for over the years. The Green Eggs staff are second to none - they are constantly looking for ways to further engage parents in the Centre community. The Centre is always investing time and funds to ensure it maintains its Exceeding the National Quality Framework" standard - whether it be investing in the latest parent communication technology

My kid used to attend this last year but we pulled her out because they were not feeding her. Once, my child didnt like pears and had asked for apples or other fruits but they had none. She then asked for biscuits but they didnt have them either so instead of calling me up to inform me, they let her go hungry. They don't allow us to bring lunch boxes in case of food allergy. So it would have been common sense to call a parent up if the child couldn't eat what was given on that particular day, wouldnt it? But they just didnt bother and let her go hungry. When it happened the first time, I let it go and packed her a small box of sandwich and fruits just in case it happens again. True enough, the next day she came back hungry again and the lunchbox was untouched. They didn't allow her to eat her food because of other children who may have food allergy, well fine I can accept that. But again, my child didn't like soggy pears and sour oranges that they served so the same thing happened again, instead of calling me to inform me, they let her go hungry. Unprofessional and very disappointing. We moved her to another kindy and she is so much happier.

Great centre! Staff are lovely. The director holds regular meetings with parents to raise concerns, ideas and keep parents informed on new developments. They organise for external people to come in and run info sessions regarding child behaviour for parents at night and during the day there are ‘incursion’ shows focusing of tooth care, marine animals sustainability etc at various times in the year. There is a chicken coop with a few chickens that the kids can watch and see them lay eggs. Staff are paid above award wage because they value good staff. The food menu is great from the kids gourmet food company. Best of all, all age groups - 18 months old through to kindy age kids get to play in the outdoor area all together at various times in the day. This is great if you have siblings. The other centres I checked out rotate outdoor time so siblings don’t get to see each other all day even though they are at the same location! It’s great seeing the kindy kids interact with the little ones and making friends of various ages. They recently installed a water play area which kids love!

Green eggs is the most amazing child care centre I have ever used.The staff are all amazing! They all genuinely care about the children.The environment is beautiful and enriching, and the new water park is just going above and beyond.All centres should aspire to be like green eggs.

Our daughter loves this daycare. There are many excellent educators that she has formed a great bond with. The centre has a nice ‘homey’ feel about it and I feel like the educators care about the kids. We keep her there even though we have now moved out of the area. Definitely recommend it.

The staff at Green Eggs have cared for two of my children. I always felt at ease knowing that the staff love are care for my children as much as I do. It made returning to work a smooth transition having highly qualified educators caring for my children in every sense, not just educationally. There are so many wonderful new improvements to the centre environment and they strive to continually better their centre.

Green Eggs definitely goes above and beyond and has early there “exceeding” quality framework status! Always looking for ways to improve the service, grow the sense of community, and engage parents. Green Eggs provides far more than paid care of your children. Love the professionally prepared food plans, outdoor area including pet chickens and brand new water play park, long term staff that really know your family. Definitely book a visit if you need childcare in the Mansfield/Carindale area.

We love green eggs! We have our 3rd child there currently and she can’t wait to go back and play each week. My children have always felt loved and cared for by the educators. They keep parents updated on a daily basis through their up to date technology via story park and OASIS systems. Highly recommended!
