Hands down the cheapest hair salon I've been to in Chatswood. Only $12 for a haircut!!! Located in Chatswood CBD, the salon is great for hair cutting and colouring and is my go-to salon.

I asked for $18 haircut and they charged me for $20! Disgusting! Never coming back here again!

I visit KYH regularly for my haircut, my son and my visit. Fare is an attraction and easy access. Also the staff has been really nice. Recommend to take an appointment and go to avoid waiting time. Else prefer to go during the afternoon as I have noticed duringbthe time of 12 to 2PM its is quite free and relaxed.

Got ripped off here.. first i got told I needed a hair wash although Ive never needed one at other hairdressers; and then they charged me $1 to use my card.. they've lost my return business..

The men's hair cuts used to be $12 at this place even in last year in early 2020 as I see from some reviews here. When I walked in I saw handwritten over the price board, '$15' but I wasn't wearing my glasses, so didn't notice it said 'from' $15. The lady who cut my hair kept chatting to me in a way that was hinting that my hair needs a lot of attention though she didn't spend that long cutting & trimming it. This was pretty much one of those setups to charge you more at the end & sure enough the cashier told me to pay $20. I said I thought it says $15 on your board? She said my hair was long. It wasn't long as I cut it above the ears & don't leave it too far down my neck. I paid them, but they are missing out on any future $ from me, as they should alert the customer about any 'long' hair beforehand & get the price agreed on first. Short term gain for them, but shooting themselves in the foot long term. I can always ask them first I guess, but a lot of people won't. And will end up not coming back. The hair cut itself was OK not anything above the level of cheaper places that charge from $8 to $12.

Hair wash, blow dry, hair cut and brief styling for $35. Good service, experienced staff and affordable price.

Used to be better.I think it really depends on the hairdresser you get here. Been trying this place for about a year now the mens cut has increased $5 so its not as cheap as it was before. The owner is nice, But today it was another hairdresser and when i asked her to go a bit shorter on the side and she swore in Korean under her breath and then proceeded to rudely say you want shorter? Then go to a barber shop". Was appalled by her reaction and will not be coming back"
