GREENRISE RECREATIONAL RESERVE
Just be aware there is only minimal water in back area of Greenrise in winter (if quite wet majority of RV area is to wet to drive on or park on) rest of time it's dry, there is a walking track around (2.4km loop) as well as in to town

GREENRISE RECREATIONAL RESERVE
Very large campground with well mowed grass which is always nice to set up camp on. The toilet is a long way from the campground. That is the only reason for a 4 star. Nice walk in the arboretum with names of the trees on plaques all the way around.

The arboretum is an excellent short walk and joins the picnic and overnight camp area which are both good. Flushing toilets nearby.

Great place to camp, nice and quiet, bit soft on grass due to rain but we were good. Would stay again.

My wife and I stayed here overnight, unfortunately for us, other campers don't understand personal space. There's literally acres of land, but every other group felt the need to park in a 25-30 metre radius, of us.

Fabulous spot for overnight camping. Plenty of places for walks including the Abortoreum. Very quiet and not many other campers.

GREENRISE RECREATIONAL RESERVE
Campground for self-contained RVs. Flat, with BBQ, plenty of space and some shade ... but no other amenities. Trees have been planted for future campers. Very reasonable for a free camp and great for an overnight reststop or as a base to visit Penola and Coonawara. A walking track takes you into Penola.

Awesome place for Doggy When Wet. Good scenic walk around the old empty lake, Quiet and a free barbecue. Good place to let your dogs wander around offlead and mix with other locals walking there animals.
