Samford valley Steiner school. If I could give this school zero stars I would. Worst school in brisbane. What they say they do and what they actually do are two totally different things. They allow bullying to be part of your child’s every day experience and put their head in the sand when action needs to be taken. The children that bullied my child would have been expelled at any other school, the bullying included serious physical assaults. It is astonishing what they believe children should put up with.Save yourselves time and money and find a school that actually gives children an education worthy of the world we live in!

In response to Tim Leicester's review, I truly hope he has found the right school for his child as yes, we are a school that values table manners and the kindergarten children are asked to sit in a quiet manner when sitting at the beautifully set table to eat the wholesome food the children have helped to prepare. We certainly value creativity and freedom, this is the essence of our education; but at our school freedom slowly unfolds along the child's educational journey when they have the capacity to self regulate and make choices that are well considered. Creativity thrives in our school, but yes, children learn first the quality of colour through well planned colour exercises. The arts curriculum is sequential as are all subjects, therefore paintings may be all the same as techniques are explicitly taught, especially in the younger years, but then the child's freedom and unique creativity unfolds and blossoms as their skills develop. The school values parents as partners in education and we listen to all concerns, however we do not change our philosophy to suit parents, we trust that parents choose us because they have made a well informed decision about what they are looking for in their child's education. I would encourage anyone wanting to know more about our school, to come along to an Open Day or School Tour.
