What a special place! We came here for a girls night out late last year and had such a memorable evening. Beautiful bold and punchy flavours with fresh takes on classic Vietnamese/Japanese/Korean cuisine. Loved the King Prawns - make sure to soak up every bit of sauce with some rice.Attentive service and incredibly fun vibe! We were lucky to have been part of a ritual at the end of the night where the owners shouted all the diners a soju bomb. Imagine a room full of people tapping their chopsticks at the same time then sculling their drinks. Look forward to returning one day soon!!

Amazing. The dinner I had last night was simply sensational. I love every single dish we had especially the chicken rice. For all lovers of Hainanese chicken rice , please do yourself a favour and come and try this dish at this very impressive restaurant. I can’t wait to come back to Gold Coast to dine at my favourite pan Asian restaurant in Queensland.

Sensational dining experience after one of my best mates took me here. He’d been raving about the venue for ages, so I was excited to try it out. Literally an unexpected hole on the wall. What Eddy + Wolf lacks in size they make up for in flavour and service.Seated at the Chefs table we went for the Dine like the Wolff at $95 pp and includes a mix of house favourites and secret dishes. Each dish was better than the next, I spent the night oohing and aahing over every mouthful.Definitely in my top favourites on the GC and will be back for me. I see they’ve just released a new menu so perfect time to try!

We chose to have the Lucky menu at $75 per person which gives one item each from the BBQ, Snacks, A Bit Bigger and Sides. We also had a drinks, totalling approx $20.Seats at the bar were hard to get into as there was barely any room between diners to squeeze in and you have to kind of hop up. Then the waiter pushes you in from behind and there you are. Not ideal if you need to get down again especially for shorter customers.Service was good, however food was rather disappointing with quite small serves and not all flavours quite hitting the mark.BBQ:King Oyster Mushroom - texture was good, they had a kind of soy savouriness however not exciting and no specific point of view.Bo Luc Lac - Beef - not beefy, had a glaze but beef itself lacked seasoning.Snacks:Korean Fried Quail - alluded to Korean fried chicken but quail wasn’t brined and breading did not give that nice Korean twice fried crispy bite. Fortunately the magic sauce on the side noticeably added taste.Scallop Cerviche - This dish looked elegant however the flavour came from the sweet pickled radish - that was it. The radish flavor overpowered the other ingredients and the scallop itself was sliced so thinly that you didn’t get its sweetness or essence.A Bit Bigger:Lap Yuk Belly - The pork which while tender due to sous vide, was dry. Unfortunately the orange sauce also needed more depth.Char Grilled King Prawns - This was the best dish. These were tasty and just right. Had burnt garlic butter, shrimp paste and chilli oil. The prawn meat was succulent. Loved the chilli butter sauce and added it to the Chicken rice. We were advised we could eat everything on the plate but really, eating shells and burnt legs is not really appealing.Sides:Chicken Rice - rice was perfectly cooked but flavor did not quite get there.Green Beans - While perfectly just cooked, did not have distinct intention.Yuzu soda - just a hint of yuzu flavour.Mocktail - this was the non alcoholic version of Siam High thai which originally had vodka, Thai Basil, mango purée, sherbert syrup, lemon, lime and egg whites. Refreshing.Had read some good reviews beforehand and menu looked interesting so we went with fairly high hopes but honestly, wouldn’t hurry back.

I love the fit out at Eddy & Wolff.. This was our 4th time dining here. Food was delicious, as always.Waiter didn’t seem overly interested to be there. Cocktail menu was lacking. I ordered an espresso martini, which was undrinkable, but still had to pay the $25 for the cocktail. If you are charging $25 a cocktail, it would want to be special….

Amazing food. The Lucky menu is true, because I was lucky to have everything i ordered be absolutely delicious and more. I thought the portions wouldn't be enough to fill me but by the end of it all, I was satisfied! Amazing suggestions by the chef too, and definitely a great fusion for foodies. Also great cocktails! A must experience at least once for some light fine dining.
