Absolutely worth the drive, the road in is quite rough but worth it. The views were breathtaking

Not far from Eagles Nest look out, Point Pure has similar great views, the platform here allows better pictures of the cliff face and is an easy 150 meter's walk from the car park. The road in was very rough and I would avoid in a standard car, also my navi said it is on Point Pure Rd and there was a sign saying so. Greendale Rd is actually Reid Rd on the sign.

Stunning panoramic views! A great place to take in the scenery after a solid day of rock climbing! Ample parking if getting there early but can fill up as this is a popular crag.

Beautiful!!!Worth the drive!Pity the day we went, it was cover cast with showers hanging around. So we didn't get to see all the views. But what we saw was absolutely lovely. You can even go Abbsailing down the cliffs.

My car is a Touring Wagon which is a delight on sealed roads... parts of the road to Point Pure Lookout were challenging so be aware of that. It's a while since it's rained here so at least the ruts were hard. I did have to call it quits on a couple of roads in the area... especially after signs which state they are not in the local council maintenance area. Not worth getting bogged or stranded.Point Pure is worth the effort and is well equipped for abseiling if that's your thing. The nearby camp ground looks excellent.
