My Tailor Garment Alterations

These guys are horrible, simple pants leg alterations work is done extremely shoddy the stiching and thread are extremely fragile (single thread stich!). Prices for their services are expensive and you'll get extremely bad customer service. You can get better, cheaper and better quality work elsewhere

I’ve used My Tailor several times now to have pants taken up (damn short legs). The ladies are always super friendly, accommodating to busy time frames, and do a great job, my pants always sit perfect.

Brought in 3 Business shirts and 2 pairs of pants for alteration and they did a wonderful job! They spent time fitting and making sure I was content before making any alterations. Will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommend!

This lady is fantastic. My mother in law and I have had repairs or alterations done here many times and the quality is superb. For me she has sewn silk, satin, knitted fabric, polyester and denim and I can highly recommend her work. She also has an EFTPOS machine now. : )

I brought in my suit jacket and wanted it altered to fit me. I had specific request for the work and it was confirmed that it could be done. I was measured up and got the fit to how i wanted. When i picked up the suit jacket, it didnt fit as i specified, nor was it altered to the fit that was measured up. I wasnt happy with it and advised the seamstress, but she shook her head and advised me that it couldnt be altered any further, very disappointing after spending $70 on an alteration and i didnt get what i asked for as it was confirmed initially it could be done! If she told me that it couldnt be done during the measure up, i wouldnt of gone ahead with the alterations, as it would just be cheaper to buy a new suit jacket. Extremely disappointed how it was handled by them and Wont be using them again for any alterations.

Just got my pants hemmed and they were ready the next day with maximum care and effort. They made sure they were at a suitable length and was super satisfied with new stitching on the stretchy material my pants had.

Horrible horrible place, wish I could give less than 1 star.. I had my work pants hemmed, they lasted 1 month before the shabby stitching came undone on both ends of my pants, I went back to them and showed them and they said I would have to pay full price again as it wasn't their fault. I asked the lady if they were only meant to last short term she said yes yes not long term, unsure if she understood what I was asking, but basically just admitted they're a bloody joke. Will never ever go there again and will warn others if they ask me for a tailor in the center
