KOH Salon - Elwood

I see Derelle at The Koh and she always does an incredible job of colouring, cutting and styling my blonde hair! She always knows exactly what I need and want and she's just lovely to spend time with - I would highly recommend her and this wonderful family of hair experts!

I had a wonderful experience with Derelle yesterday. I came in for a cut and style and left not only happy with my new hair but also with so much more energy from such a lovely conversation. She really listened to exactly what I was after, and showed me even better options and ideas that I'd considered for myself. She was also very receptive to my what I liked and felt confident with too. Derelle also gave me tips that would make day-to-day styling at home easy. Would recommend and will be returning!

Came into the salon and left not feeling great. Thankfully the staff at KOH were SO understanding and offered for me to come back into the salon. Great work ethic and really appreciated the effort they took with me.

You are in good hands with the Koh team. Derelle has done wonders to my curly hair, do not underestimate what a great cut can do for your hair!

I’ve been going to Koh Elwood for a little over a year and have just followed Derelle to their new beautiful salon in St Kilda. Derelle is the best colourist, cannot recommend her more. Such a lovely demeanour, she really takes the time to get to know you and your style.

I happily drive an hour to get to Koh Elwood, every visit is a treat to myself and I always look forward to my visits.Always greeted with a big smile and presented with fab coffee and biscuits.The Koh team really like each other and the salon has such a great atmosphere. Mhairi leads a lovely team. You will never get the feeling of being ‘rushed’ no matter how busy they are. When I’m in the chair I feel like I’m the most important person there.Chantelle is a sweetheart and is the queen of colour. I’ve said for years she is a mind reader. She listens to everything and then just knows what will look good, my initial brief was this: ‘not yellow, not ash, not grey, kind of buttery blonde, definitely blonde’ somehow she worked out exactly what I wanted and over the years has changed it up but always exactly to what I love. I don’t know how she does it. She’s got magical powers, obviously.So much love to you all! Thank you for everything you do xx

Came into Koh after roughly 9 months of having my hair done, super apprehensive to try a new salon and with a complete lack of confidence. I walked out happier with my hair than every before, truely feeling SO beautiful. Can’t express enough how wonderful my experience with Leah was in collaboration with Chan’s colour advice! Not only were everyone in the salon extremely friendly and welcoming, but the colour they created truely did exceed my expectations. It was a huge job, Leah was so patient the entire time I was in the chair and I could sense her excitement and passion whilst creating the most dreamy copper brown. Koh was transparent with the price, results and I loved the “new client” form I filled out which asked details down to how firm I would like my head massage! Seriously 10/10 cannot recommend enough. I’ve finally found my hairdresser!
