Visited today, was blown away by what they had to offer. In my visit I found the pricing affordable and the stock beautiful . But I would have to say what stood out the most was the amazing staff. So polite, helpful and welcoming.

I purchased 2x solar lights from penrith store, but 1 of them had an issue with a wire not connecting correctly to the light sensor. When i returned it for replacement within the time specified on their return policy, they said nothing was wrong with the lights of the sensor. I took it back home and fixed the wire myself. I will never purchse from this store again because of the way i was treated and them not following their own return policies.

Been to this place a few times. Tje customer service os great. The 5 stars for the service.The Christmas lights especially the string lights are entangled and you spen an hour unraveling it. So if you buy 3 string ligjts you spen 2 hours unraveling it.

Went in on Thursday afternoon and bought tinsel. The guy also asked me if i wanted to join so I get a discount, which I did, by scanning the code at the counter. The next day when decorating, I realised I didn't have enough tinsel and needed some more. Went back on Sunday and when I got to the counter the girl asked if I was a member, which I told her I was. She asked to see my card but when I told her I wasn't given one she said if you had joined you would have a card" then with a sigh she said "ok I'll believe you this time only". Then she told me "minimum of $10 for eftpos so you'll to buy other things". Won''t go again. I'd rather go to Ronnies..."

Please read my daughters reviewBeing a young girl I took over to try to help the situation due to me working it was all done on phone.1st call was to ask why they are asking my daughter to go back in store to untangle the lights that we're tested the day before when she took them back not even 24hrs laterNo mention of tangled lights then.I explained they were not tangled when taken in they were also tested and found not to work.that she needs to be at work and it is a hour out of her time travel and petrol. the young lady was polite but took no for an answer that it is their policy.I asked for someone higher she said there is no one.I gave her my numberMy daughter went in with her father My ex partner..took them a few minutes to untangle them. (Was tangled by store after being handled as why would they not ask when handed in the day before when they tested them and found them not working)My ex asked to talk to someone higher as still no refund was being given the young lady made a call gave to her dad on specker as my daughter and others could here my daughter and Young lady we're talking about leggings and other things she was not scared or intimidated as to what the manager stated to me on phone.now according to manager she was very scared.. and they were concerned about herDue to the behavior from her dad was yelling at manager. .no security no police were calledApparently told to leave the store that did not happen.Both my daughter and father left on there own accord.So in light this manager was Very unprofestional of dealing with a situationMentioning information of a personal issue she was having not related to the shop nore the issue in question.I thenTry to get answers and advising them of the situation that accured leaving phone numbers emails to head office a person I spoke to I informed them I would give them the opportunity to fix correct the issues before going to fair trading.She took my details said they would call back.Then nothing for weeks I then contact fair trading for advice.Then messages on face book finally a reply no real answered or apologies only accusations that the customer is at foult.No responsibility was taken from the store at all and definitely no apologies.To have still no reply from Christmas world main officeI leave a full detailed reviewNo matter what is on your receipt refound policy they will not stick to it. Read all reviews there are a few.I left it all alone.Then today after them reading my original reviewAlmost 3mths later1st thing said on phone was about my review to delete / change it or they will seek legal action.That it is not the truth well it was the truth.I have a gut feeling it is the actual manager Who. Chooses valentines day to call.I actually feel this store needs to be looked into allot closer and managed more professional, .She said they had no contact details for me nore do they even know who I was but also said she spoke to me in person in store very incorrectBut did mention my business asked me about who is highest who complaints go to.She mentions my business that has nothing to do with this situation witch to me I took as a threat.As there was no need to mention my business.This person said she is the head honcho as I asked is there anyone higher then her.so no higher to go too apparently. In the end she agreed to disagree on the lights.She also agreed the situation was not done correctly and could have done better.So from my experience and daughter's I advise anyone not to deal with Christmas world go to Bunnings they do returns to foulty item allot easier no argument no accusations of lying no words changing quick they do not blaim the customer. But will sort the issue.In a kind professional manner.To Christmas world I had already told you not to contact me regarding this matter I am not well as stated on the phone you refuse to apologize or give a refund so no point going on and coursing more stress I have a right to inform others of my experience this is what reviews are for.

This is one of the worst places I’ve ever come across I will never buy from here again…me and my dad were treated like dirt after trying to exchange or just get a refund a faulty product the day after we bought it which was one of the light boxes. The girl at the counter was nice and just doing her job she tested the lights and they didn’t work so she told me she would call me in 48 hours to see what the problem was and if they can fix it, she then call me the next day and told me no one can untangle them and I will have to come back in take them home untangle them and come back I thought that was strange because they were not tangled at all, the manger was put on the phone on speaker and she started yelling and abusing my dad then after all that they told just that there is a fault with the lights there’s a split in a wire and we won’t get a refund or exchanged but it had nothing to do with us and their customer guarantee it states that if they are un able to repair or replace it they will refund or exchange the item and they did not do that we have been trying to call them and they have done nothing. The manger that was abusing us will not give out her name but she’s the manger of penrith and she was extremely rude and made comments on us and said some things about her private things about herself to us and it was around kids aswell, the worker who was serving us was extremely nice and agreed with the situation that the manger was in the wrong and we were having a conversation about how her dad would want a refund over a faulty product aswell (has been happening from the 10/12/22 and still going on)(Please do not go into Christmas world as they will lie and gas light you they have just replied to my review with false information as the lights were not tangled me and my dad “untangled” them in 2 minutes and were broken as they were not lighting up when I took them out of the box) I’ve never told them I hung the lights up I said I took them out of the box and tested them… the lady took my receipt and the faulty lights and kept them the first day I got there the girl at the counter plugged the lights in and they did not light up so even untangling them would not have “broke them” and the girl was not intimidated at all we were talking about legging meaning active wear and other things I was there and you were not so please stop saying that your customers are lying and are at fault I wish I went to bunnings or a different Christmas store as I would have no issues what so ever for faulty products
