Great layout awesome communication. Special mention to courtney she a beautiful lady with a bubbly personality and a great listener, i enjoy her company when i go into store.

The gentleman that served me was extremely helpful understanding. He has gone through a hip replacement himself and put my mind at ease and made me aware of some things that I may not have realised that I had to ask questions for.

Tried to get a legitimate refund for my father’s stay in Ashford Hospital, while the initial staff were Okay the manager came in and was unhelpful gave us lots of forms that ultimately were not required. We left feeling that the medical insurance company Mutual Community/ Bupa, my father had been a member of since 1952, with the exception of 2 months with another one , was a terrible one.A few days later I went to Bupa at Burnside and got a totally different response, they were fantastic. Within 10 minutes the very considerate lady had sorted everything.

After being with BUPA for many many years I decided to shop around and compare to see if I was on the best and most affordable plan. When I phoned BUPA they couldn't really help with a better priced plan due the fact I was on a corporate plan. I found this odd and it spurred me on to get quotes from competitors. I was finding it tricky to compare so created a spreadsheet. After phoning two brokers and 4 health funds directly I found that HCF and Health Partners offered very good deals but I didn't want to change without thoroughly checking so decided to visit BUPA - Marion and HCF Marion for more info. When I got to HCF at Marion I waited in line for 10 minutes and there was only one person serving, one chair for those in line and the rest of us had to stand. I gave up and went across to BUPA. Their shop was amazing with plenty of seating, three people serving and one person meeting and greeting!!! I sat with a young woman who seemed new and checked with her colleagues constantly. I didn't mind and she was extremely thorough and helpful. She was able to arrange a different plan that still suited my husband and daugther - for me and this resulted in a saving of $1,500 per year. I was told over the phone that due to my corporate policy it would cost more to have I'm so glad I persevered and went to a BUPA branch and found this amazingly helpful young woman as if I hadn't I would have cancelled my policy and switched to HCF or Health Partners. Cudos to the newby at BUPA Marion and I would STRONGLY recommend going in person to BUPA rather than talking to them over the phone.

Not overly thrilled with the costs of private health in Australia, I pay plenty for a meger 50k income and get very little in return, trying to do the right thing and not go onto the public system. However each time I've needed something clarified the staff at the Marion Branch have been great.
