We have used Rental Cover for a trip to NZ in October last year and still haven’t received the refund after 7 months. Not clear explanation apart from saying the car rental company (Snap Rentals) hasn’t closed the repair and telling us to chase the rental company ourselves. Very unprofessional and slow. In case you’re curious, this is my claim number ZQK0-C8KQ-INS.

I have booked insurance with them at least 10 times, and on my last car hire Sixt have charged me 1700 Euro for a small scrach I wasn't even aware of and that was likely already there during the car pick up (I have trusted Sixt since it was my go to company and haven't checked the car properly on pick up). Rentalcover have approved the claim within 5 days, after requesting some additional documents. Money was in the bank 2 days later, minus 90 euro for currency conversion, I guess. Will book with them in the future for sure.

There was a period of time, about 4 days, during which we didn't receive replies to our emails, other than the automated we received your documents" reply. And at some stage certain details were requested that had already been provided to RC. All this and not having a person to speak with over the phone left us wondering if we were going to be ignored for a long time or if we were ever going to receive the money for the claim.However

We took insurance from here by trusting rentalcover for the car we rented from Italy. Our vehicle's tire exploded on the highway and they did not help us in any way, even though we had the right to a replacement vehicle under insurance! other than that, despite our grievance being so important, our claim for compensation still has not been returned and a full day has passed!! whereas in the contract it was written that it was returned in the first 3 working days! never cooperate!

Made a claim a month ago, we receive an email from them every week or so asking to reply to the email with the exact same document. Each time, we promptly reply with said pdf document, only to receive the same email a few days later. It appears impossible to communicate with a human, only some sort of bot-like algorithm. The latest email did say they will close our claim if we don't send the document, which of course we did..... Extremely frustrating….**** update a couple of days after the original posting this**** Rental cover came through with the payment in the end. So it ended well but it was a frustrating process

I cancelled mu insurance and claimed for a refund. I got an email saying that the refund has been made but I notice that the card ending shown is different that the numbers on my card. It seems that the refund has been made to a different card which is not mine. It is impossible to contact anyone and I haven’t received my money back. Super frustrating.Poor costumer service.UBX5-V16A-INS

Claim was attended to promptly - amount paid to me was less than what I had to pay to settle the claim of the rental company - not sure what the reason was for the difference. Otherwise no hick-ups.
