The food was delicious, though the quantity was a bit less than we expected. Kids menu was a full platter and was enough for kids. We ordered potato mains, snapper fillet and chicken thigh kids platter. Everything was good and along with that mocktail and desserts were ordered like Tiramisu. Service was good and felt comfortable. Highly recommend.

The food wasn’t great.We decided to go with the set menu $119 and additional aged T-bone $125.The gnocchi was bland and overcooked as the texture was soggy. The artichoke was very salty and scallops were average.We also decided to pay an additional $125 for the dry aged T-bone, but it was a big disappointment. It lacked a lot of flavour and was quite tough.The only good dishes were the focaccia and olive oil, crispy potatoes and dessert.We expected more as we paid around $185pp.

Beautiful restaurant in Spicers. We had the greedy" menu which provided the option to try a few different things. Was all delicious! Also opted for the supplementer 48 days dry aged T bone.... OMG! Was the best steak I have ever had! Yes it was an additional cost and a little pricey but so worth it!We'll definitely be back next time we're on the Hunter.Oh...the service was also on point. Friendly staff and very welcoming.Tip: Make sure you have pre dinner drinks on the terrace."

We stopped at Spicer’s Guesthouse to have some drinks, which then inadvertently led to dinner. It’s a really beautiful facility. We saw kangaroos out back in the afternoon while we had drinks. Since we are vegan, we were thinking we’d just have to eat whatever they had or try to somewhat modify one of the dishes. As it turned out, when I asked the waitress about modifying, she said they actually had a separate ALL VEGAN menu!! So, I ordered the potato gnocchi as my main, and we ordered olives and bread as entrees. I also ordered a side of spring greens (which turned out to be green beans. I thought it was lettuce, so it ended up being too much food. But it was nice!) I definitely recommend the restaurant for vegans and of course non-vegans. Everyone is happy here. My only complaint was how cold the restaurant was after the sun went down. It was about 16 C and the doors were wide open and the fire wasn’t going or anything. So I was eager to leave only from a comfort perspective. But the food and service were good.

Good food, very nice restaurant.Service was a bit off. When we asked to sit outside (as many people were), they didn't mention they were putting us on the cafe patio and they don't normally serve dinner out there. We weren't pushy about sitting outside so they could have said no, but instead they directed us out to the open air patio instead of the enclosed one where most people were. We ended up having to come back in half way through our prix fixe meal because they didn't have any exterior lighting near our table and the bugs were becoming a nuisance. Once they moved us back inside they only had a spot at the bar and they seemed to have forgotten about us - forgot to grab new waters, bring over napkins, etc. It was quite an expensive meal for that kind of service.

Surprised the food is quite decent. Can get a bit expensive, but the food was worth it.Pizza was cooked properly and tasted great. The garlic bread was crispy and can really taste the garlic. Sliders were cooked properly as well.The views are great and service was second to none.

The dinners were good but didn't meet expectations. High quality food and well prepared but something was missing to make it truly special. The pasta dishes were probably the best while the steak was the least interesting ones. Pizza should be avoided.The real star of this restaurant is breakfast which was great. The pesto gnocchi was amazing and highly recommend. Same with the poached eggs. Breakfast pizza was good but huge!

Eremo truly impressed us with its enchanting ambiance, attentive and accommodating staff, and exceptional cuisine. The food surpassed our expectations, as each dish we ordered was flawlessly prepared. Along with our main courses, we indulged in the delectable roasted rosemary potatoes, which were served in an incredibly generous portion.In summary, our experience at Eremo was nothing short of remarkable, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

I could not fault this restaurant and bar. The service was impeccable, the food was absolutely amazing, all the food had that fresh homemade touch to it, the vibe of the whole place was just amazing, the old school wood look was amazing, loved the wood fires around the restaurant both inside and out
