Australia Post - Palmerston Post Shop

This post office is possible one of the worst establishments ever to open their doors. The staff are completely unhelpful. Offer zero assistance and struggle to use any common sense at all. I will actively go out of my way to avoid this place from now on.

Very unhelpful & entitled staff. You‘d think ladies of a certain age, would be nicer

I come here almost daily. Ladies are extremely helpful and friendly. Not sure what all the 1 star ratings are about but my guess would be that it’s a bunch of self entitled Karen’s.

The fact that there is such bad reviews on here dating back years regarding the staff just goes to show its a problem from the Top that sticks right down to the tooter! any good management with common sense would have addresssed this with their staff asap. every time I've gone in here I keep getting the same person even though I try to fall back in the line so I am able to see someone else instead. the asian lady in the far right counter closest to the mailing forms is so rude. she always seems to be annoyed that you're there and asking her questions and does everything she can to move you along “not my problem” issue. not to mention how condescending she was. don't work in a customer facing role if you hate your customer and don't work in a service role if you can't serve people with a good attitude. I will never be coming here again. today was the straw that broke the camels back.

Ladies over the counter wearing uniforms need to be TRAINED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I suppose it is because they are wearing uniforms means THEY ARE BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE THEY ARE SERVING. Pls, know the PEOPLE -US who take the queue PAY FOR YOUR SALARY AND MAKE THE BUSINESS GOING. Have a heart to at least serve us with a SMILE and LISTEN TO WHAT WE WANT rather than DISMISS US REGARDLESS OF COLOR OF SKIN, it is because ANY OF YOU DO NOT OWN THE POST OFFICE. It is YOUR CUSTOMERS that make the business going.

Very unhelpful and rude to be honest, what has happened to customer service??? seriously! the service here is appalling. We were made to come and go 4 times to process a passport application from their lack of organisation, mistakes and/or knowledge of what is required. Some staff training on processing passport applications and customers service is certainly essential at this post office.

I was One of the first person their in the morning got the job done for my paperwork for work but the lady seems dis interested in her job feels like she was about to fall asleep but as long as I got my priorities done with no problems I'm good and left straight away and said thank you.

If possible i wouldn't have given even a single star rating for this worst customer service in this post, rude staff with no manners. Someone needs to teach her well about how to speak to the customer when they are coming and asking for help when they were the one who missed the parcel for 6 months and got back to me instead of reaching to the destination that i sent it.

Went there to do an AUSTRALIAN Passport for my daughter. Male post officer very grumpy and unfriendly. Didn’t know you need an appointment in Palmerston - never needed in Darwin. He could’ve said it much nicer, noting there was no one there on Saturday at 10amAlso don’t understand why did he asked where was that picture taken, is it normal to ask this question - photo taken from the photographer or was that question about what country I’m from?! Not really sure.
