The Redesdale Hotel
Food was amazing - great quality meats that are well prepared with great flavours and perfectseasoning. Service was efficient and super friendly. A great country pub feel in the bar and the restaurant has a more contemporary vibe. Sitting outside under the verandah on a sunny day is a must do. The fire pit in the evening is a great way to chat with travellers and locals. Oh..free camping here too.

Delicious food, we ordered OX tail soup with crusted bread, it was so good that we ordered second one! Burger and fish also good, fire place makes this pub warm and welcoming. Happy we came here for dinner on our way back to Melbourne.

Went with a group for lunch. It's a quiet out-of th-way pub. About 30 minutes from Woodend . Really enjoyed it.

Awesome country pub! I did my stopped over from a long drive and greeted by a very friendly lady over the counter. I had a tasty cinnamon roll and a nice coffee. I would recommend that you seat outside next to the fire place and enjoy the fresh air. So relaxing.

We went few weeks ago to this hotel and I absolutely loved it. The food was good, the atmosphere was vibrant and the surrounding was beautiful.

Great meals, service and price. We chose off the specials menu. Prawn pie a veggies was great. Wife said Barra was very nice also.

We were so looking forward to eating here and I’m disappointed to say it was very ordinary. Service was haphazard, food was average. Parma tasted weird, like perfume or flowers. Chips had no flavour or seasoning. Kids fish was full of bones. It was cold in there also despite the fire. Really underwhelming. I don’t know what’s changed since these other amazing reviews but we drove an hour for a birthday celebration and left very disappointed.

Rustic country pub, solid selection of beers and food was spot on. The steak was cooked as ordered and the peppercorn sauce was top notch. My partner had the burger which was very tasty and liked that the menu listed the cuts of meat it was made from.
