Absolutely stoked with their customer service they went over and beyond to fix several issues that were not rectified by previous mechanics. I would highly recommend them its a shame you can only give 5 stars because they deserve more.

Attended Jake's in June 2016 after being frustrated in not locating a decent mechanic locally. Had my brake master cylinder rebuilt by Jake and a few other minor issues looked at. Great service, he knows what he's doing and didn't rip me off. will be back... highly recommended. He's not afraid to work on old (50yo+ cars).Attended again February 19 for work on another classic car. Full suspension rebuild, all new brakes, new fully rebuilt power steering, fit front and rear sway bars, new springs and shocks. Jake certainly knows his work and is a really nice guy. Will be back!!!

Jake, Rob and his team are absolutely impeccable mechanics, amazing people and just generally absolute stars. They are efficient, caring, affordable, understanding and go absolutely out of their way to help. I have been driving 20 years and I have NEVER found a better mechanic. All their work is amazing, diligent and professional. They have helped me out every time I've been in need. They don't overcharge, they are honest and I would not trust anyone else to look after my car. I cannot recommend them highly enough and I will never go anywhere else. Thanks always to these wonderful guys and this stellar business. You will not be disappointed coming here. A1 service and just wonderful, genuine people.

Jake looked after me from the get go. Great prices great service great result and will be getting my return business. Truly a small professional business that excels. Having worked next door to Jake and Rob at Jake's Brakes and Suspension I got to know them well enough to know that they're honest guys. Very friendly, funny, and they'll tell you as it is.They've serviced my car, changed my timing belt and serpentine belt, honestly they're my go to mechanic for my little ford fiesta, good people that are trustworthy.

They were not clear on what work they were undertaking on my mother in laws car then took her for another $500 she wasn’t quoted for. When I spoke with them as to why they offered a free wheel alignment. Unfortunately there was no written quote. I do not support businesses that operate in this way. The quality of work is there but bad customer service in this regard. Will never recommend.

Best mechanic on the Gold Coast! My car broke down on the highway twice and I was lucky enough to work in front of Jake's shop.My car is an older model so Jake couldn't check what was wrong with it via computer.Two other mechanics told me there could be 10 things wrong with it and to just see how I go". Only Jake was professional and kind enough to check all those things and fix my car despite being overbooked. He kept my car for three days to make sure it was safe to drive and charged me a really good price. He literally saved me! Highly recommended!"
