Good camp-site but expensive for 2 oldies. The single site next to us has 18 teenagers on a grog and drugs party using the only toilet for many activities!?. A night of hell instead being at peace in a nice natural environment. No parks ranger visiting the grounds during this mellee.

We stayed at Site 11 - lots of room & the toilet was well maintained (but only one mens & one ladies for the 11 sites). No water (so no showers), No rubbish bins.Expensive at $47/night - we paid $3 more for a grassed ensuite site in Hobart. But the site is level & plenty of wildlife, Kookaburras, Goannas/Monitors. The Goannas try to steal food if you don't keep it locked away. Nice shade trees, and at the right time of year you can have a campfire. (BYO wood). There are plenty of well sign posted walks.

Nice campsite for when nearby Mambray Creek is booked out. Only a dozen or so campsites so much quieter. Still has toilets though

Did not camp there, just visited the ruins. Some birds posed for a photo, most of them did not.

Due to a lack of rain, the camping area was very dry and dusty. Ate dust with most of our camp meals. If you don't have asthma or dust intolerances, you might still enjoy it. Toilets were clean and well maintained and rain water in tanks available. Would be a great place to stay if it was still green and not so windy. Pretty walks of various lengths and walking levels available. Plenty of wild life around if you look out for it even close to camp. Ruins and cemetery an interesting reminder of how tough the early settlers had life.

This campsite was almost perfect. It has a good spot for all the camping stuff. It has only a toilet without showers. You’ll have some kangaroos as neighbours which gives the best experience. If you a looking for a very relaxing place to stay this is your place.

Great camp sites. Big sites surrounded by nature and a good distance between your neighbour. A toilet upgrade would be nice but was pretty good for a long drop!

On School holidays, when the main campsite can become quite crowded, this campsite has large sites with lots of space between sites. There are drop toilets and fire pits. No showers, but it is a short drive to the main camp where solar heated hot showers are available.
