I went to get a price for some repair work at a mainstream Bicycle shop in Bayside (without naming names) I have an oldish but top of the range Specialized mountain bike that I have had for years.The push at the shop was for weighing up the cost to repair v’s buying a new bike. Good argument, but I love this bike and in its day it was, and for my purpose still is a great bike. I take two kids every day to school on it and the last time I checked they enjoyed it too.The wait time to repair was over one month so I got onto Google and found Cycletopia in Sandringham. Michael is a perfectionist and more importantly he got the nostalgia of bringing my bike back to life. He is a kind, fair and patient man who fully dedicated his attention to the best outcome for me, finding the best solutions at sometimes trying times regarding parts and best outcome-long term.I cannot rate Michaels services enough.Friendly, great communication and I ampretty sure you may learn a thing or two along the way.Thanks, MichaelSean McBride
