I hate having my photo taken so when I booked I was extremely nervous but Tania was so lovely and friendly I felt I was just catching up with an old friend and as a consequence the photos were brilliant! Ps new studio is fantastic! Xo

Short version - Super dodgy studio. They prey on parents in the newborn haze (just like myself) by approaching you when you are the most vulnerable - after giving birth in the hospital. They have no integrity as a business so I cannot recommend them to anyone. Stay away!Long version- Photos were promised within 2 weeks however we didn’t receive any until 2+ months.I contacted them after a month via email but didn’t receive any emails or call backs. Contacted them again after 2 months, told them that I wanted a refund. I was then told they actually sent the link but it was to the wrong email address and that they’re sending the link right away. Did not receive any links. Requested another refund. Was then asked to call them (not the other way around, as you would imagine any other business’ doing). I refused out of principal. Sent another email requesting a refund and then was finally sent the link. I have no more interest in these photos, again out of principal and have requested a refund, again. Refund has still not been received because apparently only Tanya is able to do it and she’s travelling.We paid $395 thinking we’d get digital photos, however for this amount, it seems we’re only able to view photos digitally through a link they provide you. If you wanted to download any digital copies of the photos, they’d charge more.They’re a dodgy business and I could not recommend them to anyone.

Been twice already, first time for my daughter's 100-day photos, second time a family portrait and for both kids. Highly recommend for terrific experiences and fabulous photos. The ladies at Mishaka are great with kids. My daughter is very shy, Tanya always has a way to get the best out of her and catch the moment.

We were visited by Sofia after delivering our newborn at Frances Perry House.She was absolutely fantastic.We are so happy with the photos we have received, we will cherish them forever.Definitely a highlight of our hospital stay.

I’ll start by saying that both ladies are very lovely. I genuinely enjoyed our time and chats in the studio!However, we bought a Groupon for one large framed photo… of course on the day, we couldn’t choose, and paid an extra $240.When they were sent to us, we really did not like any of them. They were particularly unflattering of our infant daughter {a lot of nostril photos… as a rule of thumb, babies shouldn’t be photographed at this angle}To their credit, they did offer a reshoot (couldn’t do it with hubby’s work) We then received half a refund $120, with the promise of the originals as well as the framed Groupon.That was a month ago and we have received some digital copies that are too small to do anything with, and no framed photo.So we are $150 down with essentially nothing to show for it.Very disappointing.

What started as something we were just going to do as a once off has now turned into something we must do for important milestones!And there's no choosing 1 or 10 or 20 images. They shouldn't even bother with these options IMO. It's just not possible to pick only a few out of all the amazing images that these photographers produce. We always end up walking away with the full package. The memories captured are forever and so worth the money. We have been given vouchers to other photography studios but feel Mishka not only provide great images but great value too.Tanya is absolutely wonderful with the kids. Even though you think your child was super grumpy, Tanya works her magic and you would never be able to tell from the result. Tanya listens to what you want and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process.Their service is excellent. They're friendly, patient and you have the opportunity to review your images in a private room immediately after the shoot.I highly recommend Mishka if you're looking for amazing photographers to capture your precious memories.SL

We had a newborn photoshoot with Sharon in the hospital. Sharon was great with the baby and we shot quite a few good photos. We wouldn’t be able to capture that unique moment so well without Sharon being there. Price is fair for the quality and compared to the market rate.

Finally getting around to review! Sadly we lost my sons father late last year. It was sudden. The day after his funeral we came into the studio to get some shots taken. Sounds strange, but for years I meant to get shots of our grown family, and then it was too late. I stumbled across a special offer in the Stonnington Community group, and Tania? was so sweet, sensitive and the studio in Malvern was lovely. Tania was a pro, even getting some laughs out of my grieving son. Im only just today (6months later) access and buying the prints we love. The process was simple, and Im just grateful to have pictures of my small family today. Thank you again

Justine was so warm and friendly, she captured the most beautiful photos of our newborn and helped us feel relaxed and safe. Couldn’t recommend her more!!

I can't explain how amazing Tanya is. She is so patient and understanding of kids and she is very professional and always gets amazing photos even when kids can be hard and not cooperative the entire time.I have been taking my son since he was a baby and he is now almost 7.Couldn't recommend enough.
