Enjoyed a wonderful cruise on the tall ship James Craig, on Aug 1, to escort the Esmeralda into port. My 3rd time on this lovely ship, and as usual the crew were great. very safety conscious, and plied us with a great extended morning tea. What better way to spend time on the harbour. Thanks to all MARY

Great location especially for those maritime enthusiasts. I've been here and the Australian national maritime museum a few times too for multiple occasions and I've loved it every time. The place is a bit busier during school holidays.

I had the opportunity to visit the James Craig today and was met with a very enthusiastic guide who had a wealth of knowledge about the ship. The ship was fascinating and it was wonderful to see passionate volunteers doing what they loved. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in history.

As a volunteer guide at the museum I get to show visitors from all over the world our ships and special collectionsThe Carpentaria Light vessel is an old friend now berthed at the museum, but I remember it as a welcome beacon for navigators on ships I served on more than 40 years ago as they passed through the reef and Torres Strait

I love this place, history of Sydney Harbour abounds here. Volunteers work on restoring old sea worthyruise vessels to their former glory, like the James Craig. Enjoy a cruise on one of these around our beautiful Harbour.
