District Skate Oak Flats

We had our daughter's 7th Birthday party here on the weekend as a private party. It was absolutely brilliant!! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and communicated everything to us. They were also very helpful with any beginners who needed a few tips. The atmosphere was incredible and the kids and parents had a great time! I would recommend Oak Flats Roller Skating Rink to anyone for either a party or a single visit. We have been very impressed!

District Skate is a family friendly spot for the kids (and parents) to burn off some energy.You can hire skates and we found that if you eventually end up buying your own skates from them you get some free entry tickets thrown in for free.They sell drinks and snacks for very reasonable prices and if you order hot food (e.g. chips) they’ll find you and bring them out to you so you don’t have to wait.The real stand-out is the owners and staff that often lend a hand coaching the parents on how to beat teach their kids. They really want to see you and your kids get the best experience.Skating sessions are often broken up with short activities like limbo, chariots and frisbee to keep things fun.It’s great seeing how quickly children can progress and learn to skate on their own.

How fun!We took our kids on a rainy day and the staff looked very busy but didnt let that stop them from giving us a smile and being very helpful. Our kids are 4 years old 6 years old and a newborn, and the staff were very helpful and getting the right rollerblades for our kids and also my husband and I, while we were looking after our little baby. All in all the great experience

Want a place for a 2 hour session of non stop fun? Come here! Always a great time, speeding around in district skate. Fun events hosted each session, usually 3-4 events hosted.Examples; Limbo, Speed skating (Advanced and Intermediate usually), chariot racing and frisbee game. And of course the fun balls that you can throw around.Entry price is reasonable. Freshly made chips at the canteen, slurpees, ice cream, powerades, anything you may need at reasonable prices.You won’t be disappointed by your time here, always friendly staff, great seating, unfortunately there will be people who try to ruin the fun or cause a scene but the staff deal with it as well as they can.Can buy parts, roller blades / roller skates and carry bags from here as well at good prices.

We had a group of teens hire the private room for my daughters bday party, everything was clean, staff were friendly and patient with the kids when I certainly would not have been lol and the kids had a great time. Michael the manager has great customer service and was really encouraging. Even got to take the pram on with bubs so I could try roller blading. I want to come back up with no kids and a couple of friends! Would recommend it if you want a bit of a laugh and something different!

Great fun for the kids. Lots of laughs for the spectators. Gets everyone off their computers. Great excersise too

Fantastic venue, really taken off since the new owners have signed on. Always lots of people around, great facilities and awesome tunes on a Friday night. Good value fun for the whole family, well worth a visit! And they have coffee too!

Have come here twice in the past year... absolutely loved it and had so much fun. Staff were great and friendly!Don't let a small negative comment tarnish this local business' reputation. It really is worth a visit.
