Over the top prices, much cheaper at indian stores other side of the station.Since you asked, i purchased Shree Ganesh 1kg yoghurt for $8 at your shop few days ago,today (7/06) went to the shop near Coles and got it for $5.50,thought the mark up was like a dollar but only realised today that your shop is a royal rip off,$2.50 mark up on one item! Very reason why I try to avoid buying at yours even though i live closer. rather drive or walk up the bridge and save $10-20 for a few items than buy at yours and get ripped off.Sorry, sharing since you asked

Extremely poor service, placed an order on Thursday, promised it will be delivered by Friday, didn’t come. No one answers the call at the given numbers. Received messages late night that it will delivered Saturday morning, again same story. Then I receive a message on Monday morning that the amount was refunded and so the order has been cancelled of which, I don’t have any notification from my bank. There was absolutely no communication on entire Saturday and Sunday.And the reason they gave me for not delivering on time is that their supplier did the same to them and there are no specific reasons for not answering calls, may be that’s their usual.This was my first time ordering with Kalavara and I will make sure I never shop with them again.

Friendly staff and genuinely caring owners. Appreciate the efforts to keep the shop operational during covid times and doing home delivery to people affected with covid.Special sweets during festivals are my favs!

Kalavara has a great range, and great staff! I started shopping at Kalavara about 2 years ago, initially just buying cold drinks. Gradually I discovered the rest of their products. Nowadays I’m in there at least twice a week. Highlights for me have been the frozen deserts such as rosmali. Also the Sharma’s Kitchen Indian style yoghurt. And the tinned tropical fruit such as jackfruit. The machine at the entrance makes rich, delicious cardamon tea, and other hot drinks. But the store’s biggest asset are their people! There is genuine kindness, and helpfulness! Well done, and see ya soon.

Visited to purchase ayurvedic medicine based on the availability mentioned in their website, none of the items were available at store. They took my number to provide the availability details or other stores by that day evening, days and weeks crossed without any updates. By the time I have ordered online from India and received in few days.Unreliable staff/owners, may be ok for casual grocery shopping.

This store is amazing with excellent customer service and also good quality products or items. Divya made sure that the orders' delivery was done smoothly and checked everything is alright. It was a lovely gesture and it is not certainly something that I get from other stores.So Kalavara store will always be one of my go-to places hereafter.

Ordered Onam Sadhya for 2. Best most delicious food. So much quantity with very high quality.Due to overwhelming orders, it. got a bit delayed but the owner delivered at home free of cost with a pleasant smile!! No compromise on quality! Loved it!

I just had the best experience at Kalavara!The owner Neera is wonderful & provides INCREDIBLE customer service. This is my go to store for authentic & DELICIOUS spices, snacks, hot & cold drinks! Everything is reasonably priced & made even better by the in store experience. I 100% recommend visiting if you like Indian cuisine, like to cook, or want to try some new foods/drinks! I am very excited to continue to buy from Kalavara & continue to explore their amazing variety of options

I can see lot of stories about bad delivery service by Kalavara and this continues.They manage service delivery in very unorganized manner. No reply from store when they miss the delivery.Won't recommend to anyone.In reply to shop owners call:She agreed it's a mis managed scenario from their side. No communication prior and after the delivery from store.Even package was left without information and it was unattended.
