Port Carbon Clean

My DS3 was overdue for a much needed walnut blast. I was looking for a very long time for a place that provided this specialist service for direct injection turbo engines from Citroen/Mini/Peugeot/BMW and found Albin out at Port Carbon Clean in Brendale. Albin provided a great service from start to finish and he really knows what he's talking about. I appreciated the photos taken throughout the process. They really highlighted the importance of addressing this issue as if it is left untreated, it can cause serious problems for these particular engines which an engine diagnostic simply can't pick up. I cannot recommend Albin and this service enough.

I had Port Carbon Clean replace the injectors and clean the EGR and manifold on my ‘12 Hilux @185000 klms. The car feels great to drive now and noticeably quieter. New to the direct injection cars I had booked a walnut blast to improve my cars life and condition. I was met with a warm welcome and professional respect for the customer, from that moment I was confident in there ability and care for the vehicle. Like true enthusiasts they were also interested in the cars health and picked up on a fault which two other mechanics missed previously, but while the fix was small they had gone out of their way and repaired it, fixing the engine to no longer misfire at idle. So from my experience I had arrived expecting a carbon cleaning procedure but received a significantly more health engine. Thanks a lot to yous at Port Carbon Clean

Awesome result as engine was throwing error code due to random misfirings on all cylinder due to excess carbon build up on MK7 Golf. The inlet valve is as clean as new and engine is so much smoother. Power is also restored. Great service! Highly recommend. Owner is also very knowledgeable about European cars

I took my vr6 to Albin after looking around for someone to do carbon cleaning, I am so grateful I took it to him. People talk about professionals all the time, but he is a level above.The difference in the car after having the carbon clean and injectors serviced was immediately noticible, I planned a 7500km road trip for the weeks after having the work done, and I reckon I probably saved $300 bucks in fuel plus the car was far more responsive.Now if only he could fix buckled rims...

Can't recommend Albin and Port Carbon Clean highly enough my Mk6 Golf GTI had a miss fire on cold starts and was generally down on power. If you have a look at the pics which he provided you can see just how bad the car was and what it looked like after the walnut shell blast and cleanup (like it just rolled out of the factory). Also had the injectors serviced at the same time which makes sense with the manifold coming off. The car now drives like it's brand new, can't get over the difference. If your shopping round and looking at carbon cleaning for your car I recommend getting the walnut shell blast done. I should also mention they are a full service garage, Albin's extremely knowledgeable, explains what he's doing so even I can understand it and clearly takes pride in his work.

Got a walnut blast done on me audi s3 8v. Absolute legends at this place. Ran me through everything fitted some aftermarket parts for me and fixed the water pump and injectors issue. These guys here know what they're are doing! Couldn't be more happier with the job. Cheers heaps fellas

Performed fantastic job, our TT now runs like new again. The owner went above and beyond to get our car fixed as had horrible misfire. Definitely recommend this place for all work required. Cheers
