We can’t rate the product as it is yet to be installed. Nevertheless, we felt compelled to make comment about the very professional sales consultant for Smart Energy. The fellow’s name was James Grant. It was a refreshing change to have someone who was able to answer all of our questions in a simple manner. He was an engineer and not the typical salesman. There was no set presentation. It was all about what we needed to know. There was no ‘hard sell’. James was very polite and punctual.

I wasn't around for the install but my mother was and she had nothing but great things to say about the team that done the install. Alannah the rep that came round and gave me the talk and opportunity was so friendly, helpful and amazing. The assessor for the installation came round and gave me 100% full bill of health and all was working. The guys have always checked in on me and any issue I'd been to lazy to ring and ask about I'd tell them and they were all over it straight away make note the issues I had were from weather and general wear and tear nothing to do with the guys that done the work. From my experience highly recommend them

After feeling somewhat relieved thinking my issues with my battery were going to be resolved, they haven't. I have waited now 6 weeks for my battery to be fixed and my next step will be to go to the Ombudsman as we feel we just want this resolved. I'm at the point where I'd rather they just uninstalled it and gave us our money back.

I have had nothing but trouble with my system and this company has very poor customer service. I have paid a lot of money for the solar panels and the battery and my electricity still keeps drawing from the grid not the battery. I have requested this to be fixed on numerous occasions but Smart Energy has not fixed the problem. One very expensive and unrewarding experience.

Kerry did a wonderful job in setting up the project and then the team who came Don and co were awesome. This was the second company we used for solar and overall our experience has been better.

Highly recommend Smart Energy, every person I’ve spoken to his highly knowledgeable, friendly and take the time so explain the whole process start to finish. The installation was completed in a timely manner and workers were professional clean and even took the time to show us how to use the app and ran us through the whole system till they were happy we understood. They are always happy to answer any questions great customer service.

I joined them after a door knocker approached my property, promising much lower rates. The bill was outrageously high and I'm so lucky to have gotten out after receiving my second bill, because there is a $150 cancellation fee if I stayed longer then decided to go. Not worth the hassle at all.

The whole process from start to finish was smooth and hassle free.Mathew the Sales specialist was very informative and explained the whole process. Huey from the customer service team was very helpful and organised the installation date and set up of Smart meter with our electricity provider.The installation team was very professional and they did an excellent job. The whole installation process took a couple of hours and was done to a high standard.It’s been two weeks since the Solar Energy system was turned on so I can't comment on the performance yet. I am hopeful the outcome will be positive and there will be huge savings on electricity bills.

A seamless process from start to finish. The Smart Solar team were on the boil from the word go and allayed any concerns we had about connecting too solar. They even upgraded our panels at no charge when the original ones were out of stock on the morning the installation was to be done. The installation team were friendly, professional and efficient. I am happy we chose Smart Energy as our solar supplier.

My solar panels were installed quite efficiently by the Smart Energy team and completed on the 1st of April. It has only today, 7th July, been connected to the grid. That took 3 months and 5 days for the new meter to be installed, by Tasmania's Aurora energy!! Very stressfull. They came 3 weeks ago and complained that my meter box was dirty with asbestos drillings and told me to get back to Smart Energy and get them to clean it up. They refused to come so I ended up cleaning it. Not a big deal really. So back on the waiting list but only had to wait a week this time.
