Thank you so much, Craig, for setting up my sons two Ibanez guitars . They play so much better now, and you did an excellent job on both of them. He is so happy to have his guitars playing like new!

I took my Ibanez Q54 in because the tuning system was not working properly. The G string was stuck . Craig explained that the string in the guitar didn't have any room to move . He replaced the g string for me , put some oil on it and it was all fixed. I'm now able to happily play my guitar again!!Thank you so much for your incredible service !!!

I switched to O’Donnell’s for my guitar set-ups about 2 years ago and I couldn’t be happier with the workmanship. Craig just seems to have a magic touch and the 4 guitars he’s done for me in this period all play like a dream. The most recent set-up he did for me was about 3 weeks ago on a made-in-Indonesia Fender FMT Tele HH that wasn’t much fun to play due to neck and fret issues. The playability is now brilliant and I’m finding it hard to it put down!Thanks Craig, I really appreciate your care and effort.June 2023 update- Thanks Craig for the brilliant setup you just did on my Custom Shop Gibson. The mojo’s back! It’s playing and sounding absolutely fantastic and I’m loving it!

An issue I thought I’d leave with Craig he deduced within minutes, and with fantastic, genuine service. Left with a great impression. Will definitely be returning.

Incredible luthier... and great guy!!Craig O'Donnell helped me with customising my 1984 Fender Stratocaster; a dream I'd had for 30 years since buying the guitar, playing it hard for two decades then placing it in storage.I now have a work of art and a killer, one of a kind Fender 'customcaster' with all the bells and whistles.I can't recommend Craig and O'Donnell Custom Guitars highly enough. Nothing requested is ever a problem.A true craftsman! My search for a luthier of an incredibly high standard is truly over.

Craig O'Donnell refretted my 1977 Ibanez silver series Strat copy with a maple neck. I only go to a couple of guys in Melbourne and Chris is one of those guys. He did a brilliant job installing wide frets. Master of his craft.

Great service from Craig @ ODCG doing a Pro set-up on a Gibson ES335 Studio 2014 & changing pickups. Pickup change was a lot more involved than initially expected due to Gibson's use of PCB but Craig refused to charge more than initially quoted. Now it plays well and sounds much better. Will be backRecently bought another Gibson ES335, this one a brand new '60s Cherry. A beautiful guitar but wasn't quite right as it arrived from the factory so took it to Craig for a professional set-up. Now it sounds and plays like it should. Why can't Gibson get it right at the Factory?New acquisition is a Fender Paramount mahogany dreadnought; Craig levelled the frets, which were all over the place, and has made it a whole lot more playable

Craig has done quite a bit of work for me over the years and I have nothing but praise for his work. He is an absolute genius with musical instruments. The most recent repair was a crack to the side of my Martin acoustic. I had given it up but Craig said he could fix it but it was s tricky fix. I had my doubts truth be told as it was a bad crack. I got the guitar back and cannot see where the repair was done. It’s like getting a new guitar. Craig has also saved me some dollars with his advice to not go ahead with certain repairs as the same problem will come back no matter how well he fixes it. The problem was not affecting the guitar so he told me to just enjoy the guitar. Such honesty is so refreshing and he was correct. Craig takes the time to explain what the issue is, how he will fix it and a rough cost. He is a busy man because he is so good so if you have to wait a couple of weeks be grateful you have such a talented person looking after your guitar. Here are before and after pics of my Martin. Craig was super friendly and got as much information as possible to make sure my guitar was setup how I wanted. Guitar came back playing better than I thought it could!
