Dinner in the bar- great. People who work there- great. The thing that let it down for us was the motel. We had a $140 room that slept 4. It only had 3 towels, no spare pillows and one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. It was a shame as a good sleep was very much needed after a very long day.

Stopped off for lunch. Had 2 of the best steak sandwiches with the lot ever had. Absolutely loaded, know you are back in Queensland when pineapple is on it. Coffee was nice and hot as well. Service very friendly.

Fantastic meal prepared at a moments notice for a Bus Trip detoured by floods. They went put off their way to accommodate our needs. Very special people.

Great place to stop, staff very friendly and even has a pub and motel attached to the truck stop. Well presented and maintained truck stop, definitely recommend

Great place to pull over for the night. With the cheapest fuel in the area and a great looking pub and diner. Staff friendly and the facilities worth the $25 for a powered site. We really enjoyed our stop over. I was actually quite surprised by the decor of the pub very clean and inviting. Kinda like an oasis in the desert type scenario. The food wasn't typical pub food. I ordered the pad Thai because the chef and kitchen staff were Asian so i knew it was going to be authentic... and it was! Yummo! Will stay here again on our travels. Pay for site at the pub. P.s.... the generators are very noisy so wear ear plugs.

Great place to stop after Moree heading north. Caravan park, fuel food, alcohol, gifts all available in one place. Of course, this is pretty much all of Moonie. There is a school so Moonie serves a Farming, Fishing and Pig Hunting community.

Food slightly expensive but considering it's the only road house in 150km it makes sense. Toilet are good, good selection of work and western clothing. Plus most of your essentials. Camping /accommodation is pretty good as well.

Good staff large variety of merchandise. Makes a great rest stop. Had powered site in park, easy parking but there is only only one ladies and one men's toilet and shower so if park is busy don't be surprised if you have to wait.
