The food is exceptional as is the service,this restaurant is a bonus to Hervey Bay, it is fabulous, needs a bigger venue to handle more customers,I can't wait to try another meal there again.thankyou Gerry and Moi

Not a huge fan of German food but so happy we tried this place. Schnitzels and Ribs caters for everyone and the care that goes into the meals is amazing considering the speed they serve them.Great flavours and light, wonderfully cooked schnitzels.The lady who runs the restaurant really looks after you and is training her staff to do the same.Overall a popular and busy restaurant that serves great German food while catering for everyone.We also noticed some produce for sale and takeaway available.You can eat indoors which can be a bit noisy or outdoors.Definitely give this place a go.

The food is mouth watering, and the pork knuckles are outstanding..The meat is beautifully cooked, tender, and simply falls off the bone.The host is a great guy, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.Recommended to everyone as the cuisine is great value for money.

As regular local customers were not impressed this time. New staff.Owner was very rude. We have a wheelchair and got the impression he did not want us there as it was too much trouble. The food was only average. No pork knuckles anymore.This was our last time Dinning at Schnitz & Ribs.

Great restaurant! Owners and staff make you feel welcome and are very attentive and helpful.The atmosphere is happy and relaxing. The meals are generous and delicious. Overall a great night was enjoyed by all. Photos attached are of the sausage platter and the schnitzel and rib combo.

Schnitzel and ribs that are absolutely scrummo, they live up to their name. We went here to celebrate a birthday, party of 6 for lunch. Friendly welcoming atmosphere and staff. Can sit inside or out.Service was prompt. Thry can easily handle split bills as can take orders under individual names. Drinks were reasonably priced for a Licensed premise.Have a standard menu plus monthly specials. The French schnitzel special was popular with the ladies. We also had the sausage platter, schnitzel and ribs combo, and the ribs.Everyone loved their meals and gave them thumbs up. Sizes were quite big. The schnitzel was moist, one of the best I've had. My ribs also came off the bone easily. We also tried their desserts of Black forest cake (light and tasty served with cream and ice cream), Bread and butter pudding (with a European flavour served with custard and cream) and apple strudel ( yummo served with cream and ice cream)Enjoyed our nearly 2 hours there for lunch. Worth a visit!!Note our schnitzel and ribs combo with mushroom sauce, French schnitzel, black forest cake plus 2 glasses of merlot cost $92. Good value.

Eat here. The schnitzel is as good as any I had in Germany. I had the special pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce and grilled cheese, which comes with chips and salad -$26. Delicious. Speedy service, excellent German beer on tap and a selection of bottled beer.

Great place and food.The ribs were magnificent- meaty and jucy. The sausage platter is awesome. Highly recommend to try out the potato salad.
