Golden Square Motor Inn

We stayed here recently when we traveled over from Adelaide to see the Elvis exhibition at the Bendigo art gallery. We arrived slightly later than we had anticipated but Jen was there to meet us with a friendly smile and only more than happy to give us information on where to go to eat and directions to the art gallery the next day. The room was immaculate with tea and coffee provisions available as well as a little bar fridge. The beds were so comfortable and bedding was all fresh and new. It is a nice quiet place to stay and didn't here a peep from any others the whole night, the bathroom had a nice big spa bath and a separate shower. there was heating and a nice big television in the room as well. The next day Jen was more than happy to point us in the direction of where to go for breakfast and ensure we made the exhibition in plenty of time. I cannot recommend this place enough and would give it ten stars if I could cannot fault them at all! We even received a phone call from Jen that night just as we arrived back home checking to see if we had arrived home safely and enjoyed the exhibition, I have never received service like it in the many places Ive traveled. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and certainly wouldn't stay anywhere else when i went to Bendigo. Thank you Jen for making it an enjoyable and pleasant albeit quick visit.

Friendly efficient staff, quality rooms [my room very quiet and bed incredibly comfortable], convenient location. Excellent breakfast brought to my room -- perfect start for the day.Very happy with accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late with a last minute phone booking to a large, clean room that was nice and warm. Bed was comfortable and the shower hot. The hosts were extremely helpful even booking a table at the hotel bistro next door for tea. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

Genuinely kind and friendly service. Spacious room with everything you need. Super clean. Even though the location is on the main road, the room is very quiet. Only a couple of minutes to the CBD. Fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits is a welcome change to corporate accommodation. I highly recommend Golden Square Motor Inn. You’ll sleep like a baby.

The Queen size bed was clean and very comfortable. Room was spacious. Our rooms were always warm as the host turn the heater on before we came back. The hosts will call you to make sure things were alright.

Great motel Phil & Jennifer are just so nice and helpful, we stay every time we visit Bendigo, aroud 3 or 4 times a year. We can recommend with confidence.

Our stay here was great. It is close to the main road but was quiet. The room we were was not cramped in and had lots of space. What is your first impression, the hosts… Great hosts. Always helpful. I needed a plate and a knife and they were happy to help. Needed to stay another night and adding it was no issue to them even though I suspect they had to do a bit of room shuffling to accommodate the request.I have already recommended the motel to others.

Great place to stay, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly, helpful staff. Would stay again.
