ICHI KATSU
Our second time here since December last year. The food was excellent. The size was just enough to make you full without getting overly full. Taste great, and the atmosphere was also perfect. Everything about the restaurant was just top-notch. You should try can some of the authentic Japanese dishes here. The manager was very friendly and took his time to check on us being sitting under the aircon vent. Our waiter, Justin, was extraordinary. He was super nice and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Will be back again and would not hesitate to recommend this place to our friends. We need more genuine people like those in Ichi-Katsu!

As I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by a friendly and fluffy Totoro (please see photo for your reference). What a pleasant way to start my dining experience! :-)My favourite dish of the night was the Omurice. It was super tasty and the omelette was cooked beautifully. The Mentaiko Spaghetti tasted lovely as well - a close second to the Omurice.I also ordered two mocktails - a Grapefruit Fizz and a Ringo-Rose. They were both really pleasant and refreshing. I'd recommend them both.The restaurant had a lovely, warm ambience and felt really cosy. Customer service was great too.

Had lunch today, and I'm glad we picked Ichi. We had katsu curry and pork tonkatsu. Nice curry and side dishes to go with it. The interior was nice and welcoming, too. Definitely will return to try some more dishes.

Ichi Katsu has quality food, friendly staff and a really nice, comfortable ambience. I particularly enjoyed the woven bamboo lanterns that cast the restaurant in a warm and inviting light. The deep fried octopus with kewpi mayo and a squeeze of lemon is great, especially when washed down with a large, frosty glass of Sapporo.

Not bad but not outstanding when compared to what we had in Japan...Food was portioned just right and tasted fine.I've had the pork on a prior occasion and this time opted for the chicken, not too sure if I lucked out but the chicken seemed to be smaller than the pork.Regardless, would highly recommend the pork over the chicken.Also be aware that there is a 10% surcharge for Sundays, 1.5% for MC/Visa and 3% for Amex.

Delicious food, excellent customer services, affordable prices and beautiful decor. Our family is definitely coming back here again. Keep up the great work! Only suggestion if there is an option for customer to choose no batter for the M9+ GYU KATSU else everything is to our satisfaction.

One of the very few good Japanese restaurants in this area. Food was great, restaurant atmosphere is comfy. The new waitress made a small mistake of placing our dish at the wrong angle on our table, the owner noticed this immediately and asked the waitress to correct it. Very observant and attentive to details. I was very impressed.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Ichi Katsu, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and at home despite running a bit late.The standout of the experience was undoubtedly the amazing and attentive staffs. Although I didn't catch his name, one of the servers went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was enjoyable.As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. Wasn't able to take shots of everything as phone died, but we ordered the katsu curry, mentaiko spaghetti, otsukuri soba, M9+ wagyu sando and truffle katsu set. The portion size were generous and left us feeling completely satisfied.The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lovely, with dim lighting and cozy seating. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal.Overall, I cannot recommend Ichi Katsu enough. The staff truly made our experience unforgettable, and we will certainly be back to try more of their mouth-watering dishes. Five stars all around.
