Neighbourhood gem. Love the style of cuisine which is a nice blend of East and West. We highly recommend the Hong Kong egg waffles with green tea ice cream!

Overall was okayMy hongkong egg waffle is the best I have ever had. Cant imagine how well green tea would go with berries and custardHowever, my vietnamese coffee was quite disappointing, it was not strong enough, you suppose to press the coffee firmly so the coffee dripping down would be strong enoughShould change your salt shaker lol, quite hard to get the right amount of saltMy egg toast was alright, quite average.Might come back for the waffleMy ice coffee taste like flat white, too bland

I like the food here particularly the waffles. I came with a group of people recently, we didn't book however due to last minute conflicts. We needed to wait for a table which is understandable. I came back in to see if any patrons were finishing up, as the group were now all here. I got questioned by the waitress why I was standing there and was basically told to go back outside until a table is ready. It was off putting as I was just having a look, but the tone suggested we were a nuisance. We gave up and left which I don't regret after this encounter.

Hidden gem in Glen Iris that does an Asian fusion food and it is pretty darn good. The service is pretty quick and friendly. I think it is a tidy busy on weekends, so be mindful.

Asian fusion cafe, we loved the HongKong egg waffle, custard are great to taste with highlights of berries, crispy waffle too!Congee is something rare in cafe, I like the congee but maybe not all the toppings. Baba bao I reckon is a good dish, like very stable dish, not difficult to failed the taste! However, still good food and coffee! Will revisit !

the food was so good with very reasonable prices. the only thing i reckon could have been a little cheap was the baba bao but apart from that it was all great! lovely little cafe

If you're passing through the area, this cafe is a decent spot for breakfast or lunch. But it's definitely not worth the 4.6 star rating. The Asian fusion dishes will please those who don't have an Asian palette. Asians will find it lacking in flavour and quality.Coffee is average. Staff are polite but service time is a bit slow.

Made a booking via phone about a week and a half before the actual booking. It was for 2 people on a Sunday at 10:30am.Arriving at 10:30 - there were already a decent amount of people seated. Definitely recommend booking as it got very packed as it approached lunch time. Seating is 90 mins. and if they’re busy, they will let you know you have to leave.Menu wise - I want to flag you won’t find your typical Melbourne breakfast here. They do have a smashed avo and they also have a “make your own” option with eggs, toast, and additionals. The menu is small, and there aren’t any images - recommend looking through here or on other review apps for pics. They have a carefully curated menu which is mostly Asian fusion. I ordered the Baba Sus pork belly, and my friend had the Piglette (just realised it’s called this because it’s basically a pork omelette). I loved the pork belly. Sauce was a bit too sweet for me, but the flavours of the fresh veggies and the crunch of the pork belly was so good. The Piglette came with a slice of toast and a spicy sauce. You can ask for this on the side if you’re not confident in your spice tolerance! We also ordered the Hong Kong Egg Waffles for dessert to share - and oh my god, this was heavenly. The custard, the warmth of the waffles, and the tartness of the berries all went so well together. The matcha ice cream was such a great addition flavour wise, as it wasn’t too sweet. Price wise - all together the food was just short of $100 total. This included 2 coffees (with extra costs for other milks) and a smoothie. Pretty decent cost and expected for the area it’s in.Overall I loved our meals. I would have liked to try their bao meal, and maybe the congee (especially in Winter!)Staff were really attentive and nice. The location itself is convenient with street parking all around. It has lots of great big windows which allows lots of natural lighting.Great experience.I will likely be back soon!
